My son was born here and he is 5 but because my Canadian husband turn out to be a violent drunk I had to amend my application to humanitarian and my son lost his health care two months ago because of my status.Where is your free health care?The indian kid that came 3 months ago next door have OHIP but my son that was born here doesn't.....

The Canadian health care system represents every governmental program: It is cumbersome and impersonal. When you put the government in charge of anything, quality of service falls and it becomes more expensive. Sounds great doesn't?

Look up key health statistics like life expectancy, infant mortality rate or total population covered, and you'll see that Canada ranks first in all of these.

Has your status changed? Was the child took off medical care because of status? That sounds kind of weird, so you should check with your defacs office (or whatever they call it there.)
