I was shocked and... well tbh I was impressed by the power of it. Together with the clarity of the night-time vision from such distance, and the command structure tone of the US soldiers involved, after they appraised the situation.

Normally I don't want to see anyone getting hurt... but cowardly roadside bomb planters I will make an exception for. These are the same type of people who blow up 50+ people in a marketplace.

I'd seen this before a few times. It's been circulating for a while now. Actually, I wasn't shocked so much as impressed. ANYONE who does not function under the rules of war and engagement are terrorists, and due process of law does not apply to them.
They must be summarily terminated in every single instance. Anywhere, everywhere and always.

This action was a huge mistake. It has already been assessed as a breach of the Geneva conventions by the US military, but for some reason no action has been taken yet...
If the people you see killed planted five other devices that night, it might also have been of use to know where the others were, you cannot do that after shooting them. All this shows is a lost opportunity to save US/UK lives.
Treating people like this in their own country is totally counter productive, the hatred it generates makes the whole process much harder.
If people sitting behind a comfortable desk a long way from the real conflict think this is a good idea then they are ddeply hateful / deluded / ignorant.
What you are looking at is why Iraq has been lost.

Yeah, that video has been floating around for a while. There's also a video of the flear system on the new bloc IV apache's, it's just a video of some deer, but the image on it is amazing. Unless you're trying to actually trying to identify a target that is giving off a heat signature, plain ole night vision goggles work alot better.

If they were roadside bombers then of course they deserve everything they got. I was pretty shocked that they would finish off someone who was wounded rather than apprehend them, I didn't realise this sort of thing was policy.
However, how could they be sure they were weapons or roadside bombers? I couldn't make out what the items were, so I hope their intelligence was better.
I can't believe anyone who is excited by this sort of thing, of course it is the horrors of war, but to witness it to an untrained eye is kind of sickening.

We don't know if those guys were bombers, however they had enough to waste them! And they did what they were suppose to go!
Those 30mm are great, but the A10's makes them look like BB guns!
I have no empathy for roadside bombers or civilians with automatic weapons.
It was a good hit!

Good shooting. I am entirely in favour of any military action which will stop these murderous roadside bombers, who are killing hundreds of innocent people, not just the military.

It may not have been roadside bombers, but i would rather have suspicious people die rather than a humvee full of USM's die. This on the other hand is messed up
