If a sober republican president killed thousands of americans and iraqis years ago and continues to do so until this minute, should it be forgotten even though it IS a current event? I doubt if former coke addict George Bush will ever even be charged for killing innocents worlwide?

TV coverage and the expanse of Network News makes scandals nowadays the number 1 watched show. We are inundated with news coverage of them today. back when Ted Kennedy ran his car off the raod and killed the young lady, TV was still black and white and only 1/3 households had a televsion in them. It never recieved the National coverage that we see today. Should he have been charged? Yes. why wasnt he? It doesn't mater what side of the aisle you belong to, money, power, family can clear up many wrong doings. He will be judged.

His drivers license was suspended for a very short time. The diver that recovered Mary jo's body stated she did not drown. She was in an air pocket in the car and died of suffocation. She had sufficient air for survival if he would have summoned help. He also tried to get people to lie for him and say she was driving and he never left the party. What blew that story was people saw him driving with her before the driving off the bridge. The diver said he had to pry her hands from the rear seat of Kennedy's Old's. He said that if Kennedy had not been so concerned about himself and would have immediately summoned help she could have been saved. The car was less than six feet below the surface of the water.

"Why should we hear about body bags and deaths and how many, what day it's going to happen, and how many this or what do you suppose? Oh, I mean, it's, not relevant. So why should I waste my beautiful mind on something like that?" Barbara Bush (mother of GW Bush), Good Morning America interview with Diane Sawyer on March 18 2003

A good example how corrupt our system is. The Kennedy's are just another model for a family that benefits from crime, arrogance, money, buddies-network, self-centered propaganda and sinister manipulation of the public opinion.

Because Ted Kennedy is a Politician and is very rich and knows important people in high places that it completely sets him apart from us ordinary folk and gives him every right to kill someone and get away with it.
The laws only apply to us commoners and not to important people like Ted Kennedy.
Besides he's a very busy man and doesn't have time to bother himself with such frivolities like murder and such.

Especially if he's the one who did it.

So get off his back and stop trying to bother the man whose so far removed from reality that it's scary.

What the hell does it matter if he was a liberal or conservative. If he killed a women he should be punished. If a man lies to get us into a war & over three thousand of our people get killed he should be punished. by putting the word "liberal" into your answer you are infering that a conservative would not cause a persons death. open your eyes. It doesn't matter what their political affiliation.

Of course it should be forgotten. He's not running for president. So who cares, it was just 1 person. What's 1 person life compared to how important the career of any Kennedy is.

I'm alerting the Ultra liberal media about you so they can put a positive spin on this, while reminding the country about the VP's actual accident.

No because it showed the true character of him...and it hasn't been forgotten. It is why he has never been able to run for a higher office than he has....and I have never been able to figure out how he has been re-elected...unless he has used a lot of his money to get votes.

He was a national disgrace...and still is!
