Is this something that is made-up by the rich for cheap labor or is there a constitution basis or other legal basis for it.?
Also, who has the jurisdiction in these cases; the Courts, the Congress or the Federal Government?

The value of the average home has dropped 16% over last year. Consumer spending in June dropped a record amount. The cost of fuel is eating away at middle-class disposable income. A record number of people are losing their homes to foreclosures. Late payments on loans are increasing.
While the wealth of the middle-class is eroding, corporate America is booming.
What is wrong with this picture America?

When people are saying: Bush is doing a great job. This last remaining 28 percent…Is this a case of loyalty, an attempt to mislead others, denial, ignorance, putting on a happy face or just plain hatred of the other side or all the above. What is up with the Bush Supporters?

Please don't point out the Democrats faults as an effort of deflection...stick with the question. The Democrats will be another question.

Anti-war group targets on-campus military recruiters

"A mob of Seattle Central Community College students chased military recruiters off campus last month, after a tense confrontation.

The students hurled insults and water bottles, according to witnesses, forcing the recruiters to flee under the protection of campus security officers."

Can you imagine conservative students acting like these punks?

I'm considered liberal and am vehemently against it. I believe most liberals are against it because it crosses the line and offends even the most liberal. I was just wondering if the liberals are viewed as backing this plan en masse, because I don't think they do.

Hi. Today we parked on a retail car park which said 2 hours allowed. When we got back to the car there was a ticket on it which had been put there 2 mins after we left. The warden was there and I asked her why and she said cause we left the retail park and its not allowed. On closer inspection the sign says that "2 hours allowed on site longer if shopping"

On opening the ticket the actual ticket does not state date and time the 'envelope does' It has obviously not transacribed through.

Is this ticket valid? It is also missing car colour and the last digit of the reg.

Any advise

Ta

michelle

are just dumped somewhere in the desert?
I guess the satellites do not monitor every single garbage truck heading into the desert to dump the waste.
Obviously Saddam stated he had got them and obviously he had used them at least twice.
The chemical WMD usually do not just vaporise without any residua.

From Wikipedia:
"A parachute candidate, also known as a “carpetbagger” in the United States, is a pejorative term for an election candidate who does not live in and has little connection to the area he or she is running to represent. The allegation is thus that the candidate is being “parachuted in” for the job by a desperate political party that has no reliable talent indigenous to the district or state or that the party (or the candidate himself/herself) wishes to give a candidate an easier election than would happen in one's own home area. For example, in a 2000 race for U.S. Senator in New York, Democrat Hillary Clinton was accused of carpetbagging New York. Similarly, in the 2004 Illinois Senate race, Alan Keyes of Maryland ran on the Republican ticket with similar accusations."

Why do we suppose Hillary moved to NYS, and then ran for Senator? Could this all have been planned as a stepping stone to running for President?

Okay, here is the deal.

Person A Paid and has paperwork to prove he/she is the owner of a car, the insurance is under person B's Name.
(Only person B is listed in the insurance. Don't ask don't tell)

Person A & B are sour at each other and Person B threatened that if the car was taken for a drive he/she would call in the fuzz and report the car stolen. Can Person B realy do this? Can the owner of the carget busted for car theft if he/she takes the car for a drive on a car he/she owns?

A few things are certain about Iran.

1) they are working to develop nuclear weapons
2) no amount of sanctions will stop them
3) no amount of diplomacy will make them stop working on nuclear power and nuclear weapons.

As well, sanctions are tradionally an act of war. They will only make Iran more defiant.

If the next President is a democrat, how will they deal with Iran?

Iran will probably have nukes in a few years. And it would totally change the politics and strategic issues for the region.

Your thoughts?

Presently, I am reading Noam Chomsky’s book Profit Over People Neoliberalism and the Global Order which is a critique of our political and economic system. While I first heard the term neoliberalism more than a decade ago on short-wave radio, the term is not heard often in the mainstream media even today. It is as if this word, containing the middle string of characters, "liberal", is to be shunned and shied away from by those who profusely profess neoliberalism. Yet, the perpetrators of prejudice toward the word liberal have become their own victims to this latest name calling since they themselves are the neoliberals. It is the conservative US Capitalists who have trained the country to denigrate the L-world thereby having to distance themselves from the word itself. And who said that words are not powerful remakers and reshapers of the world we see or want to be seen?

Neoliberalism is the process by which the free enterprise system and its "democracy" are touted around the world as the only successful model for the world to emulate, while ignoring its enormous failures domestically and internation-ally. The "free market" philosophy is professed to be the only viable economic system on the planet yet those professing it are beneficiaries of anything but the free market. They receive incredible tax breaks and perks subsidized by the people struggling to make a decent living. "Free enterprise" institutions are excellent examples of non-democratic power structuring. Conservatives for the most part are neoliberals benefiting the most from government subsidies to corporations through moneys collected from the poorest in society and diverted upward to the top.
