Well they got us into world war two through lack of caring
and our Greatest general turned Repulican and became
president. They staged an attack on the U.S. Maddox to
justify sending troops into Vietnam and then when they could
of won the war they let the liberal press convince them to
stop the bombing because we were killing too many non
combatants. It became such a farst that LBJ decided not
to run for a second term as president. But his construction
company still had all the rights to build our bases over there.
And as for the war in Iraq I never agreed with invading them
in the first place. A lot of Democrates voted for it though now
they don't want to share the blame. And for 9/11/01, it would
never of happened if Clinton would have had Laden taken
out while he was in office we knew right where he was at, and
we knew he was the head of the terrorists who had blew up
two of our embassies, yet we did nothing. I don't know why we
don't go into Pakistan we know thats where he is and get him
I guess both parties have their faults. But only one has any
morals and we all know which one that is the conservative one.

It is both Republican and Democrat politicians that want the troops out, not just Democrats. Like someone mentioned above, Bush was warned that the Iraq War could turn into another Vietnam. Even George H.W. Bush warned his son that if he entered Iraq, eventually the country would fall apart and a thug who would make Saddam look like a saint would take over.

The conflict isn't being won because of the fact we are battling on 2 fronts on the comparable time. (remember a splash place referred to as Afghanistan?) If Bush had had any genuine sense, he's comprehend it is the quickest thank you to unfastened a conflict. quite whilst he refuses to start up the draft to spice up up our style of militia. another factor, its the Republicans who demanded using the weapons our adult adult males use (they fireplace the equivalent of a .22 high quality around. not often sufficient to kill a canines!) So previously you start up off blaming the liberals for each little thing, save on with the money. locate out who's making the main out human beings being over there. It particular ain't the Liberals.

It’s not the liberals’ doing. Bush was warned before he invaded Iraq that it could become another Vietnam—i.e., a quagmire that cannot be won.
It would be another Vietnam if it lasts for several more years. Main American combat operations in Vietnam lasted from approximately 1965 to 1973.
It will last for several more years if we don’t leave now.

I am convinced you have heard every argument and have decided that we should remain there for many years even in view of the fact that it isn't feasable. Are you only asking to get ammunition from the answers for your next question? I think that 70% of the country is unwilling to invest much more of anything into this conflict. To me, the reasons are as obvious as the sunrise. The Viet Nam occupation was a prior mistake. Why repeat it by staying year after year? Either Iraq wants their freedom or they don't.

It's pretty simple. They want the same results. They are talking to the generation that lived that mess and hopefully by comparing the two they will get the same results. Too bad that they cannot be honest enough to say that this war on terror is not Vietnam and whether it is in Iraq or not, we will be fighting it a long time.

They helped to start The war in Iraq were for it till that see it as a tool for making it a issue for Votes to win in 08.It's all about making Bush & the REP party look bad. If they would of stayed united like they were in the begining an supported our troops than this out come would be different today. They believe when the going get tuff cut & run fend for yourself. The rest pay.

It is another Vietnam--and was destined to be such from start. We had no business going into Iraq in the first place--and the blame for that is squarely with Bush; America would never have supported the war had he been honest.
And the American people know that--witness the prevailing attitudes. Bush--and his supporters--are being held accountable for their actions. And will not escape accountability by their rhetoric, spin, or efforts to find scapegoats. Not this time.

Iraq is already a new Vietnam. How many more American soldiers have to die before the right understands the work of the US army there is over? There are signs that Iraqi's would be far less tolerant of alquiada forces if the US pulled out.
The work is done it is criminal and wrong to let those brave soldiers babysit another countries civil war. They are nothing but targets. They've done their job and deserve to come home
