Only if the proof is there. They could say that you ran a red light, but without proof, and two weeks passed, it would be difficult.
What you do not realize is that your admission is all they need, and to prove intent, or probable suspicion.
You just gave them that here.

Yes, my friend they can. It depends what state your in but the statue of limitations (how long they have to get you) is alot longer than two weeks on drugs. But they may choose not to because of the wait. Since it happened two weeks ago they may not have the evidence against the person.
