Since lefty talk radio is a winner and the only reason it hasn't succeeded is because of evil white man forces, why don't one or more of the wealthy leftys (Soros, Geffen, Simon, take your pick) apply for and recieve a license to start their own lefty radio network? Can't see how the FCC would object to their licenses (the fairness thing) and since it's a sure fire moneymaker of course those leftys would love the huge profits.

Okay, let's put in some new choices this time:
Remember, the primary is over and these are the winners. We're having the general election.

Barack Obama (D)
Fred Thompson (R)
Ron Paul (Independent)

Once again, I've added Ron Paul because I believe he'll end up running as an Independent.

Who will you vote for?

I'm not a racist person. However, in my opinion judge is a bigot and racist who has a huge chip on his shoulder. He probably coasted through his entire life thanks to affirmative action and thinks the world owes him a living because of his race. Compare him to that family that owns the dry cleaning business who came here to the United States to make a better life for their family. Here they are working hard and contributing to this great big quilted bed spread we call America. The judge needs to get a life and stop thinking about himself and start appreciated our American motto E Pluribus Unum... Out of the Many, One...

Okay, the primary election is over and the results are in. In all fairness, my choice for a Presidential candidate didn't make it either.

Here are the choices:
Rudy Giuliani (R)
Hillary Clinton (D)
Ron Paul (runs as an Independent)

Who would you vote for today?

I'm trying to understand this movement to get the fairness doctrine reinstated.... Let's see... Americans have a choice of what they listen to on the radio... they have chosen for whatever reason to listen to Limbaugh, et al and chose not to listen to Air America. To me that's just a winner and a loser in the marketplace, just like when a company goes bankrupt because a competitor took its customers away. So, since Americans were too stupid to embrace Air America, we now need legislation that forces those stupid Americans to do the right thing?

Iraq PM: Country can manage without U.S.

Associated Press ; July 14, 2007

BAGHDAD - Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki shrugged off U.S. doubts of his government's military and political progress on Saturday, saying Iraqi forces are capable and American troops can leave "any time they want."One of his top aides, meanwhile, accused the United States of embarrassing the Iraqi government by violating human rights and treating his country like an "experiment in a U.S. lab." During a press conference, al-Maliki shrugged off the progress report, saying that difficulty in enacting the reforms was "natural" given Iraq's turmoil. We say in full confidence that we are able, God willing, to take the responsibility completely in running the security file if the international forces withdraw at any time they want," he said.

As Iraqis now assert their authority and accuse the US of being 'cold blooded' killers, why are we still there?

Isn't it now obvious to the most stupid that 3700 American lives have been lost because of a few people's greed for OIL.

You know, I might not agree with a supporter of the Iraq War, but I can certainly respect one who says something like "This war is a noble and righteous cause, now if you'll excuse me I have to get to the recruiting station," or "This war is important to America. I know because I've done two tours there."

Now, I do not believe you have to have served in the military or fought in war to have a positive opinion of the Iraq War. After all it is your opinion and your right to have that opinion. Just try to understand what your argument sounds like.

"This war is noble and just, but not quite noble and just enough for me to take any risks or make any sacrifices. Only noble or just enough for other people to take the risks and make the sacrifices."

"This war is necessary to the security of the US, but not quite necessary enough for me to spill my blood, or my family to mourn, only necessary enough for other people's blood to be spilled or other families to mourn."

Please do not respond if neither you nor your spouse has been in the military. 2 kids, a wife -just turned 32. Job market is terrible in Cleveland Ohio area where I reside. I work 72 Hrs. a week for no future. I want my kids and wife to have a better life. This is why the Navy has caught my attention. I know the basics--8 weeks boot camp-on to "A" school. But what happens after that (My wife's question)? Am I deployed? Where do we live? What impact would the decision of joining have on my kids and wife? Are they well taken care of while I'm away? Recruiter told us I'd do 6 month deployments once every 1 1/2 years. What are the best career fields to seek if wanting a port job? I'm ready for this move-my wife and our children are my concerns. If sincgle-I'd be gone today. I have to be exact on their feelings and what they can expect....advice, examples and help please????????? This is the biggest decision of my life.

But yet he also says iran is weaponizing the insurgency...which is an impossibility as Iran is enemy of Alquaeda and sunnis are enemies of shia....
