As Iraqis now assert their authority and accuse the US of being 'cold blooded' killers, why are we still there?

Isn't it now obvious to the most stupid that 3700 American lives have been lost because of a few people's greed for OIL.

First off, these guys being in Iraq are not keeping us safe. They are being sacrificed for economic gain. Secondly, if Bush had kept on track and searched for Bin Laden like he should have instead of veering off on his Iraqi tangent, mostly likely he would be caught instead of a threat still. We have made more terrorists than ever before because we are now the most hated nation on earth second only to Nazi Germany because of Bush tactics. He shoved his way into the White House and thug politics have been the result. He has tried to strongarm the whole world and they hate us for it. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 and his lies got us in a war there. These guys deserve better than Bush and someone should tell him he does not work for Halliburton. What about the 363 TONS of cash sent to Iraq and have just gone missing? Who is accountable for that. If you believe the Bush lies about keeping us safe, then you are pitifully naive. Bring our troops home and let them do their job of keeping America safe instead of giving Iraq freedom. This has only diverted them from the real search of terrorists. Halliburton's profit is up 800% over pre-war statistics. We have been there longer than ww2. Enough already. It is time for Iraq to step up and take care of their own which they say they can easily do. Enough military stratigists have said there is no way for the USA to win a civil war......what does it take to you Bush supporters to get you to think. Lord, your heads must be made of solid rock. You are as stupid as your hero Bush if not more so.
Hey Daniel....it is THEIR country not ours. It is not our job to trust them. We are not their mommy. They don't want us there and it is time to leave.

Oil and Money, I said from the start. It's about oil and Money. The Iraqi people have long wanted the USA out of their country, the Iraqi leadership just never voiced that until now. The Bush Idiots started to lean on the Government in Iraq and now Iraq claims it can take care of themselves just fine without our troops. Without security the no bid contracts let by Bush and Cheney can not be completed and billed.

The part where Bush has to admit he was wrong. That's a very big problem for that guy.The part where he realizes he will always be remembered as a the President responsible for the biggest foreign policy blunder in American History. Most important the part where soldiers lives are more important than the Bush ego.

I think it's sad that people Actually believe this is over "OIL"!! Bush being the President of the U.S.A. could have done MANY other things to up the gas prices without starting a war to cover it up.... I doubt his intentions were to invade Iraq to cover up his Oil profits... This is just a stupid made up lie by the Liberals to take the attention off the real problem and make Bush out to be a monster. Bush and Cheney have A lot of power, and i doubt invading another country and looking so obvious would be their Idea of the plan to use. Get a clue and start thinking for yourself, stop allowing the Liberal Left to do it for you!!!

It may indeed be time for the U.S to leave Iraq, but for crying out loud thousands of lives were not lost because of OIL!
Come on now.

Clearly, they don't understand the "leave" part. More than 3,600 Americans have needlessly died because of Bush, and I fear that many more will unless Bush is impeached and removed from office. As many of you have already said, it's about OIL.

Way to simplify everytthing, btw... nice grammar. Okay troll, nothing is "obvious" that you say. Your biased opinion isn't shared by near as many as you might think. To assert the war in Iraq is about "a few people's greed for OIL" is laughable. You demonstrate your simple, naive mind when you post things like that. Go read or book or do something useful with your time and leave this to the grown ups.
