Everytime I hear a liberal's opinion on this site its like Im see the response of the same person over and over again just with a different face. It's almost like they've been programmed to think a certain way?

Because that's what Liberal means, open minded. And some Dems are not that liberal, while some repubs are on the liberal side on some issues. The point is sticking with our constitutional rights and not using religion as a reason to deny people of these rights. Separation of church and state, to each his own, and don't assume you are right about morals and ethics, because that is every persons individual right to choose. If not, then this would not be a demo cray. It would be a religious country like Saudi Arabia, where people do not have freedom to live the way that they are happy.

They don't.

Just like all conservatives are not in lock step.

It's even more true that liberals diverge in their thinking, because unlike conservatives, they actually value diversity.

But as far as your premise being irrational -- just look at Speaker Pelosi and Cindy Sheehan. I'd be willing to be you consider them both liberals. Yet, they disagree on many major policy points.

My guess is that you don't actually look at the details of the issues, or what they are saying, so you form the opinion they all think the same because they all disagree with you.

Different people have similar opinions. Proof that conservatives do the same thing: Bush was put in office. The liberals didn't do that. There's nothing at all with sharing opinions, it's what makes us human. Just don't go making concentrated accusations about something that applies to society as a whole.

Seriously, why be so judgmental? Try keeping an open mind to what they're saying to see why they believe it. Who knows, maybe you'll find yourself agreeing every once in awhile.

It's not uncommon for people to hear the loud voices of today and believe they represent schools of thought. But in truth today's loud liberals are propped up by business interests just like every body else, so what they say has nothing to do with the rational socially-responsible, yet ultimately asthetic morality of theoretical liberalism. They all sound like eachother because all loud voices sound alike in a capital-ruled economy. Conservative boundaries and the spread of wealth (liberal democracy) are the selling points of all the well-funded parties. But they all deliver to their customers, the owners of industry, rather than the tax payer. Elections have nothing to do with performance, and even the liberals can't afford to admit it.

I would think the cut and run liberals when not emboldening the enemy are thinking of ways to surrender to the terrorists they love. That is if they are not busy at a gay parade, having an abortion or hugging a tree. Their anti-American agenda and flag burning rallies while they raise taxes are what really piss me off. What a bunch of robots. Sound familiar?

Lets think of the definitions of liberal and conservative.... hmmm Now which would you think would have more of the same opinion. Dont strain now... okay here is a small hint or clue...
Conservative - Favoring traditional views and values; tending to oppose change
Liberal - 1a. Not limited to or by established, traditional, orthodox, or authoritarian attitudes, views, or dogmas; free from bigotry. b. Favoring proposals for reform, open to new ideas for progress, and tolerant of the ideas and behavior of others; broad-minded.
This is a tough one. Baa Baa

what?

many have similar beliefs on certain issues... but there are other issues that are very divided in the party... much more so than ANY issue in the Repubican party...

like immigration is much more divided with the libs... gun control is also more divided...

HERE... EVIDENCE... (THE THING YOU DON'T BOTHER TO POST, AS USUAL WITH REPUBLICANS)

look at the approval rating for the congress? how can it be so low, lower than even the presidents... if we all agree?

Turn off the Fox news and read some. All TV is Conservative propaganda. I never watch TV, I get my news from PBS and NPR. Try it, you may learn something about the truth for a change.
