I took my elderly mom to the ER last night because two of her doctors were afraid that she had a blood clot and they needed the ER to use their equipment to check it out. She doesn't have a clot, thank God, but oh-my-gosh, what a nightmare being in the ER waiting room for 4 1/2 hours watching all the really sick or injured people, and then seeing other people come in with a mild rash or splinter and yelling at the receptionist because they had to wait so long. The trouble-makers brought their friends, neighbors, neighbors kids, buckets of chicken and bags of other fast food, laughed and partied like it was all a big joke. Why is healthcare so expensive in this country? The people who use medical cards go to the ER for non-emergencies, and then the dr gets paid about 1/10th of what the bill actually is, leaving the rest of us to make up the difference.

I didn't think a soldier was a slave/robot until this war started. Aren't soldiers human beings, thus, aren't they also protected under the Constitution?...then why do they blindly follow a defunct leader who has repeatedly broken international and domestic laws when these men and women know this war is wrong?

To me, he seems like a terrible man for the job. Whenever I ask anyone why they like Obama they don't actually know any of his political views, they just seem to like him for no reason except his appearance. Why?

"Think" precludes initiating activities to bring the thought into reality. For example, thinking about walk across the just vacuumed carpet without taking one's shoes off or thinking about giving someone the finger.

I was reading a Pro-life/Pro-choice question on here, and everyone was like "its not a man's place to choose what a woman does with her body". But what about the man who really wants the baby, but the woman goes and has an abortion. How is that fair?

My employer treats most of its staff really poorly, except those that are related to or friends with the directors. They don't break the law but they are mean spirited and family unfriendly, especially for a fostering agency. So does anyone know of a website where people can name & shame useless employers. MY career there is dead anyway so I have nothing to lose.

i think thats bulls*it, has our country ever fought a giant superpower, i mean think about it the last poerful country we fought and beat was the british in the war of 1812 which doesnt count cause it wasnt like a big war, and the revolution we got help from the freanch. japan is a freaking small island so it aint and we got tons of help in world war 2, the vitanamese war. vitnam aint that powerful of a coun try so why the hell do ppl say we are the best army in the world. we cant really take on big counries ourselves. i wood think the most powerful wood be like china or sumthing.

(obvisiouly iraq doest count as a powerful country)

I asked this question a week ago, and Yahoo shut it down. I got an answer from a German woman who said that George W. Bush was a pawn of the Neo-Nazis. She said that he was unimportant, except for the fact that these Germans were trying to destroy the US by running us into bankruptcy and that we would destroy the Middle East and Israel in the process.

January 2005 was dining in a restaurant and was eating coleslaw, took a spoonful of it and put it in my mouth, spit it out and discovered that I had just put glass in my mouth. About a week later was hospitalized and developed an infection in my tongue. Spent about a week in the hospital and for about a year was on prescribed heavy duty narcotics. Summer of 2006 had an ablation done in my mouth to ease pain. The people we are sueing have REFUSED to settle outside of court. We have an arbitration court date set for January 2008. Basically says that if we win arbitration the max that will be awarded is $50,000. My lawyer says if this is won we can then go in for more money. SO IN THE END HOW MUCH WILL THIS CASE BE WORTH?

Should the US be doing everything in its power to protect unarmed civilians from death? Are they?

In August 2006 (the last month we have data for who killed how many civilians), there were 3309 civilians killed in Iraq. Of those who killed more and how many?

Is it correct for the US military to go into daily battle to try to eliminate those killing innocent civilians?

The answer is my blog, in the article entitled "The Surge." http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-DfkctJU7dK5B7LcNROoyVQ--;_ylt=AiNXZokI1G6zowgYXNnJS9msAOJ3?cq=1

The war on terror is just a bumper sticker. Think of these as practical jokes. We just kidding! HA HA. Mr. Edwards has very nice hair but must grow beard when he lets us in.

Look at funny Bumper Sticker Attacks

-- The 1993 World Trade Center bombing that killed 6 and injured 1,000
-- The 1993 Mogadishu firefight that killed 18 U.S. soldiers
-- The 1995 Saudi Arabia car bomb that killed 5 U.S. military personnel
-- The 1996 Khobal Towers bombing that killed 19 U.S. soldiers, wounding 515
-- The 1998 bombings of two U.S. embassies in Africa that killed 231 citizens, 12 Americans and injured 5,000
-- The 2000 USS Cole attack in Yemen that killed 17 U.S. sailors, wounding 39
-- 9/11 3000 dead - so funny, a real knee slapper!

P.S. Liberal Smpathyzers - Please do not use the phone. Bush's wire taps are working and they have located some of our cells in the USA. Our cell in Eugene, OREGON was raided. Bad Liberals. Bad Liberals!

need millions of dollars from voters to just run their campaigns?

Our country isn't that old. 100 yrs ago when men decided to run for office, lets just say for president, they made the announcement and it was spread by word of mouth and paper and phone. Later by TV. But did they go around asking American citizens that could vote for donations to pay for their own advertising like they do today? Is this what the donations go to, toward all the advertising about them running for office? To pay for the newletters, to pay for the letters asking for donations, to pay for their jet flights, to pay for their interviews...? Doesn't the political groups have a bank account that they can dip into for this stuff?

I vote and I'll get bumper stickers and signs for my front yard. But I'm tired of all the phone calls and all the letters in the mail. Why do they need millions and millions of dollars, and even before they make the official announcement of running for president? Plez explain.

Instead of Insults, digressing, writing nonsense and general sophistry......

CONS its about time you had a coherent argument to defend your indefensible positions.

You have been wrong for 7 years and like a 'chickenhawk' it is all coming home to roost.

Over 3600 young American kids have DIED since Bush started his war in Iraq-a war we now know was based on lies by the Bush administration.

TENS of THOUSANDS more have been MAIMED in Bush's war.

The American people voted out the rubberstamp congress that kept supporting Bush's war, but Bush will not listen to the American people.

Many Republican Senators and Congressmen want an end to Bush's war, but he won't listen to them either.

Now, even the Puppet Prime Minister of Iraq that was hand picked by Bush's puppet government wants the US out so that his country can have peace without US occupation.

Should Bush continue to send American kids off to die as Human Shields for Halliburton or should he start to listen to America, Iraq and the rest of the world and bring them home?

Okay, I'm seeing one of the worst Liberal Spins I've seen in some time on Y!A tonight. So, to combat this, I make this challenge.

Show me where the Iraqi PM has TOLD US TO LEAVE and I will leave this forum and never come back.

Here are the stipulations.
1. The source must be a scholarly and credible source. No Blogs or Myspace or Wikipedia allowed. (I suppose for the sake of being fair MSNBC, ABC and CNN can be used)

2. It must clearly show that the CURRENT Iraqi PM has said without a doubt "Get out of Iraq Now" (or something of the like).

Can you prove this?

I wait patiently.
