Which "Odd Law" website have you been visiting? I seriously doubt that has been enforced for decades. It is unlikely anyone remembers why such a law was passed.

If I lived there and I wanted to eat cottage cheese at that time I would, law or no law lol .

hi !!! its because after 6pm the temparature falls to 33* this engages the "cottagar chessious" beetle in a fight or flight mode.anyone eating cottage cheese may be pecked,bitten,or even kissed by this mammal.i hope ive helped you.
