My employer treats most of its staff really poorly, except those that are related to or friends with the directors. They don't break the law but they are mean spirited and family unfriendly, especially for a fostering agency. So does anyone know of a website where people can name & shame useless employers. MY career there is dead anyway so I have nothing to lose.

LOL the things I say when I have had a couple of beers and start to feel sorry for myself. I am quitting soon anyway as I am leaving the country. I just want to warn other tecchies off them. They rarely allow flexible working but expect you to be flexible, they rarely train people, have a crap pension and do the bare minimum for the employees while expecting a lot in return. The "cost of lving" payrise was2% when the rate of inflation is 3% and the company is doing well. 2% Is an insult to the hard work of many people there and an insult to the intelligence.

As you have stated that "they don't break the law" what are you going to report them for? You also haven't given us much detail about what you mean by "mean spirited" and "family unfriendly".

You also need to be aware that you may very well have something to lose if you falsely accuse them of wrongdoing or cause them to lose business -- they could sue you and win.

If as you say, your "career there is dead" why don't you move on? You're not obligated to work for someone you don't respect or stay in a job you don't like.

Instead of reporting, just find another job and leave. As you said, they aren't breaking the law. The only thing you can do is to walk out, and take your experience with you.

If you did report them on some public website, it is not likely to be seen by the right folks, but they could take you to court for libel.

You can report them to the Better Business Bureau and to the Chamber of Commerce. You can also report your experience to your local employment agencies. However, be careful posting info like that publically. If it isn't 100% true, you can find yourself paying for the rest of your life (it's called Libel).

Tell everyone you come in contact with what a horrible buisness they run... word of mouth is the biggest advertisement for any company.
