To me, he seems like a terrible man for the job. Whenever I ask anyone why they like Obama they don't actually know any of his political views, they just seem to like him for no reason except his appearance. Why?

If he were the democratic presidential candidate than yes because I abhor the republican presidential candidates.
I am in favor of Dennis Kucinich.
I realize he will most likely not win and it is to most people's detriment. I strongly believe that.

Neither he nor Mrs. Clintion have worked out given out an actual plan for their presidency other than the same mantra of change. None of the canidates sem to be telling the truth, less than normal, from both sides of the aisle. Despite the primaries this one will be down to the village idiot and his runner-up for the position.

I guess because he is not a "family politician", that is to say, a Clinton or a Bush. I also respect that he stood by his principles and voted "NO" to give the President authorization to go into Iraq, even when it was unpopuelar. He voted no, and was even prohetic when he said, it would mean occupation and possible civil war. A President with principles,and who stand s by them that would be a change. He is also and inspirational speaker.
