i have a rev. dr. james smith and he has told me that yahoo is haveing a secret lotto and that i have wow $500.000 dollares and that this will be coming from the uk because on one in the us knows about it

ANY claim that you won anything is a scam if you did not enter. ANY prize that asks you for bank account information or a 'possessing fee' or 'tax payment' is a scam. If in doubt, it is probably a scam.

There is no such thing as a 'secret lotto'. Every lotto has one of two goals. 1. To raise money. That requires SELLING entries. 2. To ADVERTISE something. Advertising and secret are opposites.
