Quote) •Bush is not credited with any medals on this discharge, although he was authorized two: the National Defense Service Medal for 6 months of active duty and a pistol qualification badge. He lost the pistol qualification when he was stripped of all his qualifications but the NDSM should be here and its lack shows that not only was he stripped of all his qualifications but his medals also. (end quote)

Never in the ENTIRE HISTORY, as far as I know, has there ever in any Country, been a coward who was STRIPPED of EVERY honor and not DISHONORABLY DISCHARGED.
This is your little man-boy that americans die and STEAL for.
Hes a proven pure worm--you feel free to follow this half-man. I'll pass.
Unblievable--a coward who coulnt handle the nat guard.
PS...HE told Alabama nat guard--he flew jets so old--no one had them.
If you think this "thing" is a man--do you ? honor your country?

The mantra is that the nursing home is the cigar and cigarette smoker's home ....But it is the administration which decides to place the smokers in close proximity to the sickest patients, who cannot object. If thiis treatment causes helpless patients to die of of pneumonia and circulatory failure, nursing home regulators still say it is not abuse.

Would liberals just call them dumb terrorists? Would they say they would have never been able to finish their mission due to their stupidity?

I am very confused, and my recruiter never seem to have the time to sit and explain anything to me. Here is my story:

*Swore in to MEPS for NAVY, scheduled to leave 06/26/07.
*Recruiter told me not to mention all 3 of my misdemeanor charges(6th degree petty theft/failure to appear/theft under $300 from 1998), only to mention 1.
*MEPS calls my recruiter week later, stating I have a warrant for Failure to Appear for one of those 3 charges.
*We get proof that there is mistake and no warrant.
*Recruiter asks to me write a hand written statement for all 3 misdemeanors.
*Then recruiter asks me to get professional references.
*Supposedly waiting for a waiver to be granted( I don't know what for)all I am told is we are waiting for this waiver to be granted or denied)
*I ahve been callng my recruiter since March to find out what is happening w/ this waiver..if i am still leaving for basic..and all he says, is..we are waiting for a response from the Co, or some Clerk. What's my status?

In one day I can do 1100 crunches straight, which I just did very easily and I only stopped because I am increasing the number slowly, 700 pushups in a day, and run 1.5 hours straight and walk 4 more hours, 50 pullups. I can make pretty much straight A's as well.

My friend is renting from this guy who is her landlord. He has a property manager for the property. This man and the property manager told her that he wanted to visit the home once a year. He came to vissit which wasn't a big deal. But he did not tell her he wanted to take pictures in the home. When he was doing it she asked why and he said they were just for himself. She asked why didn't he atake the pictures before she moved in but he did not answer her. So she is very uncomfortable. Because it just seemed strange. He also ask a lock box on her front door and she asked the property manager to remove it six times and still no one came to remove it. So it seems weird to all of us that have been talking about this situation.
What do you think?

U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Harlan Fiske Stone wrote, "The Jehovah's Witnesses ought to have an endowment in view of the aid which they give in solving the legal problems of civil liberties."

In the United States numerous cases involving Jehovah's Witnesses are now landmark decisions of First Amendment law. In all, Jehovah's Witnesses brought 23 separate First Amendment actions before the U.S. Supreme Court between 1938 and 1946.

The most important U.S. Supreme Court legal victory won by the Witnesses was in the case West Virginia State Board of Education vs. Barnette, in which the court ruled that school children could not be forced to pledge allegiance to or salute the U.S. flag. The Barnette decision overturned an earlier case, Minersville School District vs. Gobitis (1940), in which the court had held that Witnesses could be forced against their will to pay homage to the flag.

The fighting words doctrine was established by Chaplinsky v. New Hampshire (1942). In that case, a Jehovah's Witness had reportedly told a New Hampshire town marshal who was attempting to prevent him from preaching "You are a God-damned racketeer" and "a damned fascist" and was arrested. The court upheld the arrest, thus establishing that "insulting or 'fighting words', those that by their very utterance inflict injury or tend to incite an immediate breach of the peace" are among the "well-defined and narrowly limited classes of speech [which] the prevention and punishment of...have never been thought to raise any constitutional problem."

In a more recent case, Jehovah's Witnesses refused to get government permits to solicit door-to-door in Stratton, Ohio. In 2002, the case was heard in the U.S. Supreme Court (Watchtower Bible and Tract Society v. Village of Stratton). The Court ruled in favor of the Jehovah's Witnesses, ensuring the freedom of all to go door-to-door without obtaining permits.

I am on Direct Deposit through my workplace. Not due to any actions or inactions on my part, my check didn't get deposited and because of that I have accrued multiple NSF charges. Legally, is there anyway I could get those penalties back from my employer?

That the Patriot Act helped stopped another attack? Can't you just give credit where credit is due.

And for your info, I was watching Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC. They all stated that wiretaps were used since January 2006 to gather information on these terrorists.

I was relocated 3 months ago. The agreement was if I were to leave the company within the 1st yr. I had to reimburse for relo. costs. If they closed down, laid me off, etc. they were responsible for moving me home again. Do I have any recourse if they go back on this agreement. It was verbal, unfortunately, because the owner's word is stronger than paper!
