is it okay to adore cops but still sympathize with the bad guys. When ever I see a bad guy, kind of like Jeff Patterson on Blair Witch Book of Shadows I feel bad for them but I still am glad that the cops seem to come out on top at the end. This applies to real life and movies.

I am a care worker. most mornings I have to drive to visit people who need help to live independant lives. They may need important medication, some need help getting on the right bus to take them to their day care centers, many need us to drive us to their centers etc as public transport is really not an option for them. we perform a vital role yet our pay is terrible. all of these people we work with live in the proposed congestion charge area and my collegues and I simply will not be able to pay the high charges every day. will we have to pay?

My neighbor cut my lawn without asking. He cut it shorter than i like it so it would match his lawn. I like my grass longer, i have a lawn service that takes care of the grass and i have no weeds or dandelions...just nice green grass. I feel violated and i don't want it to happen again. Most discussions i have come across talk about the neighbor that totally lets their lawn go and is a huge eyesore....i am not that person. I just like my grass longer - it turns yellow and burns if it gets cut too short. What do i do? Isn't this considered trespassing? I think pushing his standards on me is wrong and seems like legally i should have something to protect me.

Everything else about Bush aside (please), shouldn't we think seriously about impeaching a President who made a grave error about WMDs. I'm not suggesting he lied, I'm suggesting that his reason for going to war is now reasonably seen as at least poor judgement/incompetence in his job. Sports coaches, CEOs, etc... get fired regularly for poor performance. Shouldn't we hold our public officials to the same standards we would for our favorite teams and companies we own stock in?
I would very much appreciate any replies from Congressmen/women or Senators (Federal, State, or Local levels)

I am new so please bear with me. I was promoted at work about a week ago and have done a week's training. I had switched departments and had some time scheduled off in my department. I gave them my notice of time off and was confronted about it. They told me that in my position there can never be 2 people gone at the same time. When I asked "what if 2 were sick" they said it can't happen. I was also told that I "might" not have been considered for the promotion if they knew I had time I wanted off. Not only this (was with the president and HR person in the company) but the other employee who had the time off sat in on all of this being nosey. I had accepted the job offer never knowing that it would be that hard to have any flexibility for vacations but knowing that they are already treating me wrong telling me how I "might" not have been promoted and allowing a stranger to sit in on a HR/Preside meeting rubbed me the wrong way. Just curious what should I do?

My last question doesn't seem clear enough. I KNOW a felon can NOT own or use a firearm, but a muzzle loader gun is not considered a firearm based on statutes. Does ANYONE know if a felon (off parole or probation) can own and use one?? Thanks.

"ROSTOCK, Germany (AP) -- Masked demonstrators showered police with grapefruit-sized rocks and beer bottles, then were driven back with water cannon and tear gas during a protest march Saturday against the upcoming Group of Eight summit in Germany.

The clashes left smoke from burning cars and the sting of tear gas drifting through the harborfront area in the north German port of Rostock. Some 146 police were hurt, 25 of them seriously."

I am 19 and never received a ticket for anything to this point, I was away at collage and part of a fraternity pledge was to drink 1 can of beer. 4 of us were riding back to the dorm when the driver (who is 21) was pulled over because he did not come to a complete stop at a stop sign. The officer smelt alcohol and gave us all a breathalyser. We all blew 1/4 the legal limit to drive so the driver did not get anything but us 3 were cited with underage drinking. Being naive to how the system works I paid the $280 fine and had my license suspended 1 month while the other 2's parents called the DA and had there's reduced to a $20 fine. 7 days before my suspension was up my dad received a letter from the DMV confirming my suspension will be over that date. 2 days after my suspension was up I was driving home and was pulled over for speeding, they also said I was driving with a suspended license. My dad forgot to read the back which said we had to pay to reinstate it.

15 year old likes to look for experience to become in an field of medical Physician. Im willing to talk to wounded soldiers and talk about em, face to face, it will surely help my social skills. Im also looking for social skills too... I dont have any Veterns hospital nearby, currently working for civilian hospital.

If I join the army to be a medical Doct. will they really give me my choice, or will they just randomly assign to each task, cause that would suck, no disrepect though. Will they train me in medicine?

My 3nd, question is, in Volunteering freely, will the Army regonized me?, and grant me scholorship, or free ecx. social skills would greatly appreciate me.

Simper Fie.
