We all know the state of Iraq right now. Instead of being all in the middle, go out to the borders. They don't want to give control to the Iraqi's because they fear Islamic fundamentalist terrorists and WMD.

Control who and what goes in and out of the country. Like how it was before the invasion.

Will we defend the Kurds against the Turks? The Turks say the Kurds allow Kurdish 'terrorists' to train in Northern Iraq. Aren't we against 'terrorists'? But the Kurds are our friends...but hten so are the Turks.....This one will be a real pickle!

Seriously, how cool is that having to help out our soldiers over seas. It would be an honor of helping out the soldiers over Iraq, but just helping them out means to them a lot and we care about em, even if its an unpopular war at home. Sure, its risky but its a way to pay back, and elso great experience.

I was just wondering, If there is a volunteer spot in the Army as in any position for a 15year old not being a soldier but being in the team of the U.S. by just helping them overseas or anywhere by just volunteering in the summer?

I tell you; it's really scary that this is the first family. Even scarier to know that there are some young ones that might want to be presient someday. I say "SAY NO TO BUSH" No "Bush" should be in the White House again!

I'm getting yes and no answers from everyone. I'm on probation and I know if I fail the drug test, my probation will be revoked. But if alcohol gets out of your system according to how much you drink, can I get away with drinking a beer or two with my dinner? Maybe 1 or 2 at a bar when my drugtest is like 10 days away. Should I? Other people I know that are on probation tell me they still drink up until a few days before they get tested. I know the consequences, but I can get away with a few now and then. HELP!!!

C'mon, they are extra eyes and ears on the border. They don't engage or detain illegal border crossers. They have no authority to do anything. They are simply an organized group of people who feel the same way that a majority of Americans feel. Why are so many illegal supporters angry with the Minutemen?
Why aren't they angry with the countries that illegals are fleeing?
Why aren't they fighting corruption and exploitation of people?
They pick on volunteer border observers instead! ...ridiculous...

So atm were not Nuclear, well only for medical research purposes anyway. We do have the largest unmined deposits of yellow cake and uranium in the world. So should we start mining and go Nuclear at least for power sources as its suppose to be a clean energy source compared to fossil fuel. With no carbon elements or increased risk of global warming. After that we could launch our own Nuclear Defence system and be untouchable from the risk of invasion from foreign hordes ! I don't know if we need it, but wouldn't it strengthen us ?

Why is it that when you have an opinion about your views on the government as it is now that you are bombarded with comments that state you are against the military men and women of this country? I recently posted a bulletin on my home page on another site and because of this I am now being told that I am anti-American. Nothing could be further from the truth. I support our Troops completely and fully, I just do not support the reasons why we are at war, there is poverty escaluating and etc.

I was really impressed by what I read on this site. A Department of Peace makes a lot more sense than selling munitions to other nations, and then calling them terrorists after you set them up and the Pres. and VP put the dollars in their pocket. This is criminal activity at its lowest, but most people are too dull to even recognize this. We put a murderer on death row, yet we elect politicians who kill thousands of people for their own greed ?

Its well known that Bush and Cheney make big bucks in the warfare industry. It should be a law that a political leader not be allowed to have any vested interest in producing military equipment.

Of course this is just the tip of the iceburg. As long as any of us support the slaughterhouse industry, we are creating the karma for future wars, what to speak of murdering children in abortion.

Dennis Kucinich is one of the first and only candidates that gives me any hope. Lets pray if elected, he does not get corrupted
