Why is it that when you have an opinion about your views on the government as it is now that you are bombarded with comments that state you are against the military men and women of this country? I recently posted a bulletin on my home page on another site and because of this I am now being told that I am anti-American. Nothing could be further from the truth. I support our Troops completely and fully, I just do not support the reasons why we are at war, there is poverty escaluating and etc.

I support our service men and women in every aspect of what they do. My views on why they are doing or being told what to do are exactly that. I have a brother-in-law and nephew in the military and I will always support them I just do not agree with why we are in Iraq fighting a war on terrorism that was started by another country.

I don't believe our troops torment anyone unless provoked. I do believe there are some bad seeds among the many that serve, but they are all there to do a job. I don't always, as well as a lot of others, agree with some of the jobs and missions they have to do.Just because I do not support every mission does NOT mean that I do not support our Troops. People seem to think because you are allowed to have an opinion that you are not patriotic. I love this country and our service people but I don't always have to agree with the mission!!!

Because on a deeper level, Madam, people are worried. People don't want to admit that their government is faltering. We don't want to realize the state of decline this entire country is in. The degeneration of the state will continue untill the people have had enough, but that time is not yet upon us.

Humans like security, and looking the other way and refusing to see the truth is a natural defense mechanism. They feel secure in the rat race of life, running to and from work. To McDonalds, and to the movie theatre. Blissfully unaware of just what is going on in the political landscape, just the way we're wanted to be.

You may think my answer strange, but please believe me that it is true.

we are at war with terror, and because they fly planes into our buildings an attacked our ground. Iraq was and is not part of that . Saddam would not come up the the 5 tons of anthrax or the many tons of mustard gas the U.N. even knew he had , its gone an maybe will never show up, lets hope so anyway. He needed to go after him it wouldve been his sons in power over there, nothing looked good for the future. The right thing was done, democrates saw this an panicked that they would never get back in power so they have been undermining the effort every since. We couldve done something over there if we would of stayed united, remember the United States? Support the troops, they are doing the best they can giving the other half of the U.S.A are begging them to fail.

I would say that most of the troops believe in what they are doing. So if you don't support their mission, how can you support them. Alot of things have been said in the media and by politicians, and normal people - I would like to know if you think that our troops break into houses and torment people, do you think they are tourturing prisioners daily in Cuba? I think alot of people say they support the troops but if something happens unflattering they take it and run with it. I believe the military is made up of decent young/older men and women, they are our neighbors, and family members and even if some make bad choices that should not be used as an example of our armed services.

I read your response and I don't believe you are unpatriotic. There are just some people who think the war is wrong and they say they support the troops but by their words you know they do not. I don't think you are in that group.

You can't support the troops and be against the war against Islamic terrorism. As soon as we pull out of Iraq the 'president' of Iran will commence the Second Holocaust and attempt to blow Israel off the face of the map.

Support the people who are dying for us.
Get it together, their are plots all the time to terrorize Americans that get stopped everyday look it up. We have to have a base in the middle east to launch our response to them and Iraq is as good as the next.
