Is making a better life possible for individuals not also good for the country as a whole? Do we have to make a choice between voting for a strong country and a miserable life? I certainly hope not or we're doomed. We all have to take the bad with the good. Nothing is perfect.

I think most of us vote for the good of the country, but we disagree about what that is.

Would I vote out of my party? I cannot imagine who I would vote for that didn't belong to my party, so no.

I am a Republican, because I believe the Republican platform is best for the country. A strong military, little government intrusion into our businesses and the least taxes possible.

No, I would not vote out of my party because my party is best for the country which in turn is best for me.
I can't imagine a situation where the other party would be best for the country.

I will vote for the Candidate who will do the most to stop the Holocaust of the Unborn and the aged. So that our nation and people will no longer have innocent blood on their hands.

In 2000 I voted for the President that was supposed to help me personally = waving Bibles and Tax cuts .....but my Bible ended up in his toilet and my tax cuts ended up paying for the high gas price!!!

In 2004 I voted for an Idiot that was supposed to be a war hero during 9/11, but he took the country on a fake war to fund Halliburton

I was screwed twice

None of the candidates are really that "interested" in helping us out personally or help the country.

They're all in for the greed, power, and status.

Why would I want to be a part of that?

What is good for the country is more commonly good for individuals.

All the candidates we've elected so far have helped only themselves. So what's wrong with wanting to get some of it back ?
