England's Nuclear Capabilities are solely Submarine Based Missiles if I am not mistaken. If they do have any Air or Land based nuclear weapons systems such as Gravity Bombs or Artillery shells, they would be in a VERY SECURE LOCATION. Under Maximum Security. The kinda Place where they are allowed to Shoot 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Then let someone else ask the Questions.
For Example the United States requires that 2 people who are cleared under the Personal Reliability Program are required to be present at all time during the Movement, Loading, Unloading, Repair, Servicing or ANYTHING to do with a Nuclear Weapon.
The use of a Nuclear Weapon in a 1st strike option requires the Approval of both the Presidient and Someone that is Approved by the Senate. The 2nd man CANNOT be a member of the Military unless the US is already under a Nuclear Attack.
The President has near him at ALL time withing the United States a Briefcase. Which contains the Launch Codes and Attack Options. This is commonly refered to as "The Football".
US Nuclear Weapons are equiped with PAL, Permissive Active Link, It requires the entry of a code of 12 letters and number to arm the Device. There are literly over a Trillion Combonations, Entry of a Improper Code, causea a System lock, making it impossible to arm the Weapon. These Arming systems are as perfect and secure as Mankind can make.
The chances of a US Nuclear Wepoan accidently going off is literly MORE then 1 in 1 Billion. A nuclear reaction is so hard to achive that the chances of a ACCIDENTAL Nuclear incident is so low as to be Nigh on inpossible.

I would think that the UK's systems are as Good.
