Not all policemen wear black, as blue is the color naturally associated with police. And who are you to associate black with bad and ugly. You have been watching too many westerns, my friend.

Since when is black associated with bad and ugly? Personally, I find black to be sexy and mysterious. And police officers wear dark blue...although the county boys and state troopers here both wear tan and brown, respectively.

Does your elevator go to the top? Who are "they" that associate black with bad and ugly. In a lot of countries, it is a color of prestige. Also, the nuns, priests etc. wear the color because they need to be consistent and stand out. The nuns in the early days wore black because it was a sign of poverty.

that is style of like a spiritual norm of society. often in u . s . a . anyhow. Black is a depressing shade so we merely usually affiliate black with evil. no longer something incorrect with wearing black relies upon on what different acessories you have on. Say a chain with devil on it, or some gothic look you have gotten going.
