Get an attorney. There are attorneys that handle disability cases. They have the knowledge and ability to get you through the red tape.

How long did it take you to compose this question and detail summary?

I don't know why you didn't use the "Check Spelling" feature of this Yahoo forum.

Workman's Comp For Warriors is what we're talking about here.

The government is desperately trying to prevent an exponential mushrooming of costs associated with the thousands of soldiers with permanent injuries.

The return of your cognitive skills and abilities is something that will continue to take place until you reach a position of recovery that is likely to be only marginally exceeded.

The extent of your cognitive injuries must be so extensive that you could not perform in any reasonable capacity that would enable you to earn a reasonable living.

I would much rather see you qualify for SDI than the people from Mexico and other places who come here half-broken already and deliberately plot to get broken the rest of the way in order to qualify for SDI.

They never put their lives on the line for this country.

To them, SDI represents the holy grail compared to what they work themselves to ill health to earn in the countries of their birth before some of them come here to scam our social system.

Not all of them are thinking this way before they get here, but many are tempted by the opportunity to cash in this way once they are here for awhile and realize their best years are behind them and things aren't falling into place like they thought they would.

We must prevent this kind of fraud and take care of our warriors first.
