As Americans we live a nice life and live better than most. With that comes the responsibility to buy American and pay a bit more. With demand will come the supply. We need to take our country back and if we have to refuse a few things until we get what we want, then so be it.

Yes. The power of freedom rests with the individual and is essentially economic power. Just as you undermine the judicial system by purchasing stolen goods you undermine any moral sanction 'freedom' as a political ideal has if you trade with it's enemies. Whatever the government or law condones, the individual is free to chose who s/he agrees with and votes accordingly; with the mighty dollar.

It is not a matter of quality of goods or quality control nor even the potential of a subversive attack on the food supply that would stop a rational man from giving China money but the principles of political freedom V's communism.

You cannot trade with a slave without benefiting his master.

I have been angry with our policy by having an enormous amount of goods produced in china. China is killing the US commercial system and within a few more years they will have a larger and more modern army than ours and will be in a position to kick our *** all over Asia, We are literally giving them the money that they need to build their economy to be perhaps larger than ours. America, you are a very selfish and arrogant country, and you can add stupidity to that remark as well. Chinese companies should be put on our "Do Not Buy List" and we will be better off for it. The larger corporations will not be happy, but the hell with them. They are coining money rapidly and wish to own the entire money market.

They are not going to make those products in America anymore because of the difference in the labor cost. A $30 Dress Shirt that's made in China costs 10 cents to produce over there. In America you can't get the label produced for 10 cents. The days of Corporations paying Union Scale when they have the option of having it produced over there are over.

I don't know that I would "boycott" anything from any country. However, people in the US do themselves a disservice by continuing to purchase goods and services at cut rate prices from overseas.

I would like to see a strong "Buy American" campaign - not a boycott.

Wow. You must be quite ignorant. Nearly everything that you used yesterday, use today, and will use tomorrow are mostly manufactured in Asia and other cheap-labored countries. Therefore, it's illogical for one to purchase all products made in the United States, seeing as though the United States rarely personally produces anything.

Good day.

The problem is americans don't want to do the work. We are lazy, and make really , nothing. Just about everything we have in our homes came from good ol china. They are extremely cheap labor.
