Are you in the United States???
If you are, ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!!!!!!!

You DO have to register for the draft ,which means a `15 minute stop at your local draft board. This is required. But.,there IS NO draft, there hasn't been one for years, and the chance of having one in the future is very remote.

If you are in the US you do not have to join but you do have to sign up for the draft if your a male 18 to 25 , which is a felony not to register.

If you are not in the US most likely yes if you are selected in their draft. The US is the only all volunteer military in the world with zero draft. Other countries have drafts and can call up a number of people they need, though there are those who dont use their drafts because they have enough volunteer soldiers, so the question is, what is the country you call home?

in what country? In the U.S. it's an all volunteer force unless a draft is reinstated. Which it hasn't been so at the moment, well really since vietnam no one h!s been forced or obligated to join the military. With that said, every male is legally required to register for selective service(the draft) just in case it is ever reinstated. If you don't register it will often times make you ineligible for financial aid for school!

No, not at all. If you are a male you have to register with selctive services at the age of 18. This is so if there's a draft they have your information. This can be done at your post office. But no, u don't have to join the military

Every male 18-24 should be REQUIRED to join the military and serve for 2 years minimum. That would straighten up our youth these days. This country doesn't owe anyone anything. We owe our country

Oh, good gracious...

There is NO DRAFT in the United States. There IS, however, the requirement to sign up for "Selective Service" which is NOT a draft and will NOT force you to enlist... but is in place IN THE EVENT congress votes in a draft.

You are not required to serve in the military. Service is voluntary. You should get better sources.

In some countries it is compulsory. If you are fit why not serve the nation in army/navy/air force.

No it's not. You might be thinking of drafting but I don't think that will be happening anytime soon. Good luck to you!
