A therapist that says that it's OK for someone to abuse me, JUST because it's THEIR house, & that if I don't like it then leave. & she tried to tell me that I should ignore the abuse. Now how could you ignore someone who's taking your disability checks & beating on you? Can you ignore the fact that you have a black eye & a busted lip & all your money is taken away from you & you have no public transportation money for school?

The collection company said it was just sold to them to collect on. It's been 5 YEARS! They said that the hospital never made an attempt to collect on it and just sent it to them.
It really sucks because 3 years ago I took out a loan and paid all my medical bills off that were in collections and such and I thought the nightmare was finally over.

The government has over 100 other taxes it imposes on you to pay for actual government "services." Local taxes, gas taxes, and property taxes are examples. With none of the future presidential candidates except for Ron Paul pushing for any reduction in government spending, how do We The People stop government from the reckless spending and waste of our money?

I swear that FDR was the last true Democrat. He was a great man and a great, strong President. After he left office, I think Democrats either lost their balls or were infiltrated by communists, or both.

Since our country is engaged in a war on terror and we know, or should know, that there are terrorists in our country illegally (see Congressional Report, "A Line in the Sand," *), if Congress grants blanket legalization or amnesty to all illegal aliens at this time, isn't that treason?

If not, why not?

So far, no member of Congress (House or Senate), the Justice Department, the US Attorney's Office, or the White House will touch this question with a borrowed hand, the chicken$#|+ jackals!

I ask because although many legal systems are built on the premise that we are 'innocent until proven guilty', why is it when something happens the victim is dragged through the mud, so that in the end the perpetrator is made out to be the victim? What do we need to recity in our constitutions?

The office of the President of the United States, is one of threee most powerful positions on the entire planet. Granted I enjoy a good sporting event as much as the next guy/girl, but I have always assigned income rates to the value of any job. Since the President has the highest value it should have the highest pay.

Analysis of the WTC steel revealed this:

"Evidence of a severe high temperature corrosion attack on the steel, including oxidation and sulfidation with subsequent intergranular melting, was readily visible in the near-surface microstructure...The thinning of the steel occurred by high temperature corrosion due to a combination of oxidation and sulfidation.
The unusual thinning of the member is most likely due to an attack of the steel by grain boundary penetration of sulfur forming sulfides that contain both iron and copper.

liquid eutectic mixture containing primarily iron, oxygen, and sulfur formed during this hot corrosion attack on the steel.

The severe corrosion and subsequent erosion of Samples 1 and 2 are a very unusual event. No clear explanation for the source of the sulfur has been identified."

This reaction had never before been seen following a building fire. So where did the sulphur come from? Well, guess what contains sulphur? You guessed it, thermate.

Attached are the history of First Class 1 ounce postage rates for the US:
http://www.prc.gov/rates/stamphistory.htm

How is it that the Post Office can take my money for a 1st class postage rate at the time I bought stamps, BUT the stamp later becomes insufficient to use?

If I bought a 13 cent stamp in 1977, I should be able to use that stamp today! After all, they've either kept my money for 3 decades and earned interest on it, or they spent the money when it was worth more than it is today.

OK, right now alot of people are using as an argument for amnesty for illegal immigrants that they work cheaper than Americans, and therefore are good for the economy by bringing prices for goods and services down.

Now, regardless of how you feel on the immigration issue, it REALLY bugs me when people say stupid stuff like this.

Do you REALLY think that, once they become legal, they will work for the same wages? Of course not!! They will not be in this country legally, paying taxes, and will start asking fro what Americans would be paid for the same jobs. And, if we continue paying them less, they will complain (remember women and the glass ceiling? Well, this is no different)

So, please don't use this as an argument. It only makes you look ignorant.

Does everyone agree?

police officer who accidentally shot and killed a colleague in the police station has been awarded a pension and medical coverage for life.

Experts said that former Easton Police Officer Matthew Renninger is psychologically disabled from the shooting.

The $900-a-month award comes after a six-to-one vote Friday of the police pension board, whose members include four police officers. The 38-year-old Renninger has not returned to work since the shooting two years ago, which killed 36-year-old Jesse Sollman, a fellow SWAT team member.

Mayor Phil Mitman, who cast the dissenting vote, said Renninger failed to follow protocol and does not deserve the lifetime award.

The victim's widow has filed a $20 million lawsuit against both Renninger and the city.

It was September 11, 1857. A wagon train of 160 settlers on their way to California was massacred by a bunch of Mormons dressed in Indian clothes. 17 children under the age of 8 were spared and lived to tell their story.
1st. They dressed as Indians but after five days they changed tactics.
2nd. Then they went a bit away ,dressed back into normal clothes and acted like the Rescue Party who had negotiated a deal with the"Indians".
3rd, Then confiscated all the guns as part of the deal for "saving" the travellers and Mormon dissidents( who were the reason for the attack in the first place).
4th. Took everybody off a mile or so and shot them all. 2 men got away but were eventually tracked down and killed a day or so later.
5th. Took the 17 children they had not killed back with them to Salt Lake City.
6th. Got away with it. After a publicized trial, with the childrens own testimony admitted into the court, only 1 man was convicted and shot, John D. Lee. ( pardoned by Church 1960)

It ended up being called the Mountain Meadows Massacre. The first time in U.S. history that U.S. citizens were massacred on U.S. soil by religious wackos. This event is even more significant because the total U.S. population at the time was much smaller.(I dont know the exact numbers, maybe only 30 million or so) In todays numbers it would be around 1400 dead.

And then the troops would have to come home right away? And isn't that what we've told the Democrats we want? So why did they submit a new funding bill that didn't have a date, and if the date was important and they knew Bush wouldn't sign it, why did they waste time giving it to him, unless it was just for show? But since they gave up the fight to end the fighting, why did we even elect them?
