Since rational people would say that violence is not the answer to the problem , then please define the causes of violence and its faithful adherents to this flawed philosophy .
By killing the father or mother of the child who has been taught he must some day be ready to defend his faith and nation from those who would seek to destroy it what have you accomplished . Violence will never be the answer so why do we continue to pursue such irrational policies .
Now consider that people have been taught that the land and everything on it belongs to the man or government that can control what happens on it . That the control comes by programing fear into the minds of those people who must work the land for the benefit of the leaders and that they must insure the care of these people to a limited extent not to reduce the profits gained from their labors . . That arming them and maintaining and securing the continued holdings is more important then anything else .
How can we overcome this

With all should know how in debt the US is with other countries, Europe, Venezuela, China, and with their own citizens. A lot of money is being spent in the war? Does a loss mean fall of the American Empire.

England went the same way, Rome did, etc..

What is your opinion? Is this a death of life situation for the US?

How would this country be able to pay such a big debts to those other countries, which by the way are no so friendly with the US?

Lawsuit Cites Plane Trips for Clintons
Saturday, May 26, 2007 2:32 PM EDT
The Associated Press

WASHINGTON (AP) — A longtime Clinton benefactor used corporate jets to fly the former president and Hillary Rodham Clinton on business, personal and campaign trips that a lawsuit brands as wasteful company spending.

The supporter, Vinod Gupta, also secured contracts worth more than $3 million for Bill Clinton to provide consulting services to Gupta's Nebraska-based company, infoUSA, from 2003 through 2008, according to the suit.

How can murdering and stealing someone else's land be somehow more acceptible than illegally crossing the Mexcian border? I'm all for immigration laws, but I find it to be unacceptable that the majority of people who are so passionate about our immigration laws want to keep the Mexicans (but noone else) from crossing our borders when the two main states that they're emigrating to (California and Mexico) were once theirs. I say the least we can do is not be jerks about it and let them in since they had the land rightfully before it was taken from them, just as so much of this country was taken from the Native-Americans. Everyone in the annti-immigration mob (and a mob is exactly what they are) seems to either have conveniently forgotten that or never cared int he first place.

With the blatant failure by the government to respect the rule of law, we face a great challenge in restoring America's moral authority in the world. Our moral authority is our greatest source of strength. It is our moral authority that has been recklessly put at risk by the cheap calculations of this wilful president....

Most Americans have tended to give the Bush-Cheney administration the benefit of the doubt when it comes to its failure to take action in advance of 9/11 to guard against an attack. Hindsight casts a harsh light on mistakes that should have been visible at the time they were made. But now, years later, with the benefit of investigations that have been made public, it is no longer clear that the administration deserves this act of political grace from the American people. It is useful and important to examine the warnings the administration ignored - not to point the finger of blame, but to better determine how our country can avoid such mistakes in the future. When leaders are not held accountable for serious mistakes, they and their successors are more likely to repeat those mistakes....

I mean, if you worked at a company some where and one of the guys were caught stalking a female co-worker, they would be fired and put on a security list. If a person left work for a couple weeks(like the VT kid did from school) for mental evaluation and the prognosis was 'a danger to himself and others', once again the person would be fired or at least watched like a hawk 24/7.

They say liberals don't know how to spank their kids and i think that Virginia Tech was a continuation of that theory enlarged.

It seems that Liberals actually do hate the military. They protest recruiters and try to bar people from going inside. What I think is funny about the whole situation is how great the military is. Liberals like to cheer on minorities and women coming out of poverty and going to college and they want to give these things to them for free, and lower the standards in order to get them in. The military on the other hand gives oppurtunity to countless millions of minorities that would otherwise not have the oppurtunity to go to college. The military not only gives them a college education, but also gives them the work ethic that will make them succeed beyond college. The military has improved the lives of millions of Minorities over decades. You would think the liberals would praise this, but they only protest, *****, and bar the military from anywhere they can. Does anyone else think this is rather ironic?

Honestly, did you realize the political make-up of the military? Only 9% of them military identify themselves as liberals. The majority actually identify themselves as conservative. Conservatives are fighting in the military for the freedoms that we all enjoy and they have done so for the past two centuries. It seems, especially since the Korean War, that liberals have no been willing to fight for their rights. Where did liberals go during the draft in Vietnam? Canada, the only people that fought were conservatives who were patriotic. Being a liberal and being a dissenter is patriotic, but being a liberal and a dissenter and refusing to fight for your rights is un-american and I think that is what most modern liberals have become. I hope liberals enjoy abusing the rights that other people have bled for, you people are trash.

Why is it that all of these Democrats are calling Bush a liar for talking about WMD, and making up one reason or another for the War...When they were saying the same thing?

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program."
President Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998.

"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983."
Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb, 18, 1998

"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs."
Letter to President Clinton, signed by Sens. Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, and others Oct. 9, 1998.

To me, it's a very touchy subject. I've known people who went through proper channels to come here for work reasons (high tech needs) and were turned down by the US government in fear of them never returning to their homelands. Yet, people are sneaking in illegally over the border and on boats every day. It saddens me that we turn away people who provide a special needed skill yet we don't do enough about illegals. It's truly a tough issue. I don't know what the right answer is...we can't simply allow such a massive illegal influx, yet we need to be sensitive of those who are already here.

From an economic standpoint, illegal aliens provide a much needed service of filling low cost jobs when the economy is rolling, When it's in a slump, then we have a huge welfare issue with which to deal.

From a humanitarian standpoint, it's great we do take in poltical assylum type cases. Yet, it's hard to really get a bead on who should really qualify.

I see no easy answer...your take?

It would appear to me the average liberal is more susceptible to believing "conspiracy theories" such as
9/11 was done by our government
We went to Iraq for oil
Roswell/Area 51/UFOs
Global Warming(not really a conspiracy, but liberals flock to it)

Now there is some basis on which to formulate arguments in favor of these. However, the first 3 especially leave much room for rebuttal. There just really doesn't appear to be a sound platform from which to prove this. They are generally "proved" by either junk science or emotions. So why do liberals fall for them more often?

Hilary agreed to the war and then she changed her mind. She will surely change her mind again, so if she does, will the leftist population then agree that this war is worth fighting?
The Democrats are playing political games at our country's expense. Most think we should surrender. Should we surrender and ask our enemy what their terms are? Because, despite what some may believe, just because we surrender, it does not bring an end to the war. For these Muslim extremists, it will not be over until we are destroyed (they don't hold hostages...they behead them).
