There has been a lot of media coverage recently about a top policeman who said that blanket CCTV surveillance is actually making British society more unsafe by breaking down the bonds of trust that need to exist for a society to operate efficiently and harmoniously. Do we actually need 1 CCTV camera per 14 people in Britain? Does it actually make you feel safer, or maybe even the opposite?

Is the state paranoid the bouncers can't handle their job? (I live in Salt Lake City, Utah & the one go-go bar that is 100% nude doesn't serve beer or alcohol, -that's what "bouncers" are for!) If I ran the laws, "18+" would be allowed in the bars to watch the dancers! (Las Vegas is 100% nude but expensive as hell!!)

George Bush has started an ill timed and disastrous war under false pretences by lying to the American People and to Congress. He has run a budget surplus itnoa severe deficit,he has consistently and unconsionably favoured the wealthy and corporations over the rights and needs of the people. He has destroyed trust and confidence in , and goodwill toward the US around the world. He has ignored global warming to the worlds detriment,he has wantonly broken treaty obligations,he has condoned the torture of prisoners. He has attempted to create a theocracy in the US and has appointed incompetent cronies to positions of vital national importance.

Now: Would someone please arrange for him to have a BJ so they can impeach the sod.?

George Bush has gone over the top. His Australian prancing puppet, Johnnie Howard is bullshitting so much that it's unbearable. Tony Blair has tossed in the towel. It's obviously a grand scale issue, or is hydrogen fuel high on the agenda, and about to cause a worldwide drop in government revenue?

ok so Americans protest to let their elected representatives know their feelings on an issue. Politicains respond to gain votes and stay in office. that is how democracy works. But if you are not represented in the government and you cannot vote, what significance is your protesting. I am not arguing for or against policies relating to immigration. I just want to know why people expect some one elses government to be effected by their protest.

A coworker's father died in January and is responsible for his remaining debt. Before creditors are willing to work with her, she needs a death certificate.
She contacted the funeral home (Tennessee) in February who stated that they had failed to file the paperwork. She continued to contact them throughout the months and they give responses like "We will call you once the certificate is filed" without taking a number or getting back to her and "We are trying".
It has been several months since his passing. Who should she contact?

The more we fight in Iraq the more entangled we become. The Bush Administration has painted us into a corner where there are no good options. This is insanity. No amount of oil is worth all the blood that has been spilled over there. Even Br'er Rabbit was smarter than that.

"I'm a Liberal and acknowledge Islamic Terrorist"

Please type this verbatim as your answer if you agree with it.
(Don't try to add any other words to it or link Bush somehow...I want to see if you are "Liberal and acknowledge Islamic Terrorist". Its very simple. Either you do or you don't.

This is only a trick question if you do not believe in the statement. But if you deviate from the answer, I will be analyzing the way you answer for emotional content.

With today's technologies why can't we get rid of the heavily influenced, overpaid, and lazy congress. Why don't we just allow the people to truly vote via either the internet/phone/or T.V. system all computer controlled and able to have the results posted almost immediatly. This would prevent some of the blunders we have ran into now. Plus it would prevent congress from being influenced by money or power. Then maybe we can show the president who is really in control!

Is it me or is it just incredible the amount of technology the US has..

We have jets that can out fly anti aircraft missiles, we have aircraft carriers that are longer than the empire state building is tall and can carry out an entire assault by itself, we have missiles that can take off in the Arctic ocean from a submarine, and pinpoint a target thousands of miles away, we have artillery that can be fired from mile behind the front lines and accurately eliminate the enemy.....

And the best part is, we have men and women ready to fight until the death to help protect their country.....

I must say, aside from all the Liberals who would rather see our military disbanded and re-direct the money to the homeless in some foreign country that will most likely attack us, We live in a great country...

I am proud to be an American, Happy Memorial DAY all you vets out there and all those that have served, war or not...

YOU ARE A BRAVE! Have a Great day monday!

Hi! My little brother is 14 and has lived with his mother since he was a baby (when our dad and his mom separated). He has expressed multiple times that he would like to move in with our father and I, but his mother is against it. My father has considered going to court, but we're unsure of the laws in our state and whether or not he will need a lawyer. I just need to know if 1) my brother is legally old enough to make the decision and 2) if not, will a lawyer be needed.

Is there anywhere I can turn for for sure answers for my states regulations on this?

Thanks!!!
