Switzerland is protected by the Alps mountain range on almost all the sides. So its very difficult to invade the Swiss.
Its one of the countries which has almost never been invaded.
I think Swiss dont need an army to defend themselves when they have Alps.

You dont invade the biggest Bank in the world, that would have had the effect of turning many nations against them more quickly.
The Nazi excuse was they invaded countries to liberate the German Nationals who were being mistreated, and the need for more living space, a claim that could hardly be used in mountainous Switzerland.
Then they needed to occupy other countries to supply the nazi war machine with weapons and food supplies.
And the excuse to invade the East was to defeat communisum.

In their neutral way, Switzerland was the bank of choice of the Third Reich. Many of the senior party members would have lost their "personal" fortunes and the party itself did considerable amounts of business there. Invading would have meant cutting off their financial arm. To this day many Jews are still trying to win access to Swiss accounts that Nazi's hoarded looted wealth in.

Those two countries were secretly profiting off of one another without most of the world knowing for almost 40 years. The Swiss stole from the Jews and gave to the Germansand vice versa. It was purely financial shenanigans that made vast fortunes to supply the German war machine and made paupers out of millions of Jews. Sadly, Switzerland was really never held accountable for their actions even after Germany was divided.

It held all of the banks where countries place their money in.
Nazi Hitler just lifted Germany off the Great Depression. It was only a few years before. He promised his people greatness.
He was not about to cause another Great Depression by taking over the country that holds all of the world's money. The standard of money was there.
Germany couldn't be that stupid.

Germany beat England (lower back) The English as a result desperately refer lower back to WWII because of the fact they have been on the prevailing edge. What the English forget approximately is that WWII replaced into no longer England V Germany (like the international Cup) yet WWII in Europe replaced into France, Britain, Russia, usa and something of Europe V Germany. heavily, English followers referring lower back to WWII are clutching at straws. some historians have self assurance Germany "gained" WWII in the top because of the reality that the German financial gadget thrived later on which made the in demand-day stepped forward Germany all of us comprehend in the present day. in assessment, England lived in financial hardships for some years and lost their international status.

Too hard for them to get there and what would the point be to invade Switzerland, they were not a threat to Germany.

Why would they do that? The Swiss were helping the Nazis and making money off of it. Believe me, no one is ever really neutral. Even today they sell weapons. That's not neutral.

They need someplace safe to store all their gold - and neutral place for conducting secrete negotiations - of course the Swiss paid very well to be left alone
