Why is it that all of these Democrats are calling Bush a liar for talking about WMD, and making up one reason or another for the War...When they were saying the same thing?
"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program."
President Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998.
"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983."
Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb, 18, 1998
"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs."
Letter to President Clinton, signed by Sens. Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, and others Oct. 9, 1998.

"We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country."
Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002.
"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."
Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002
"I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force — if necessary — to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security."
Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Oct. 9, 2002.

It doesnt matter if they found them or not, Im just saying that all these Democrats have no room to bad talk Bush if they supported the War and thought there were WMD at the same time Bush did.

You see, every Democrat with a seat of power just says whatever they think the public wants to hear at the time.
A good example would be how Al Gore plays the environmentalist card even though his mansion consumes twenty times the amount of energy as the average American home, and forty times the amount of Bush's ranch.
Now their all playing the anti-war card. How typical.
Democrats have a nasty tendency to flip-flop. That's why Kerry lost.

polititions think after a few month the people have forgotten about what ever they said or have done.
Actually they are correct. Most do forget and very soon after. Most never take the time to get involved in the local politics and only think about it during the national elections.
It is called advertising. The one that has the best advertising plan and the money to back it then that is the one that will win the election.
True, tat is how it works and has for a long time.
We shall se just who can predict what the people want to hear.

I don't know that there was any doubt that Saddam had had WMDs, after all, didn't Bush 41 help give 'em to him? The thing is, 15 minutes after a plane hits the WTC, the whole baby bush regime is ready to go after Iraq. The Hussein-Bush Family Feud is just like the Hatfields and McCoys, only bigger slingshots. (and even fewer brain cells)

I think it's ridiculous that all the Democrats who voted for the war when they saw the same intelligence are now crying foul and claiming that the President manipulated the intelligence. They all saw what the President saw, and at the time, were able to make a decision as to whether President Bush should be authorized to invade Iraq. But, now that the war has gone bad, the Democrats are now conveniently stating that the intelligence was manipulated. Strangely, all other international intel agencies believed that Hussein had or had the capabilities of producing WMDs.
For those who say that Iraq had nothing to do with terrorism, need I remind you about 9/11. The pre-9/11 mentality was to sit back and react to dangerous international events. Unfortunately, that line of thinking allowed the cowards on 9/11 to kill thousands of innocent people, mostly Americans. In a post-9/11 world, I have, and for that matter, we all should have, absolutely no problem with President Bush overthrowing a ruthless dictator who hated America. If given the opportunity and capability, Hussein would have tried to kill thousands of innocent Americans as well. After the 9/11 tragedies, President Bush assured us that he would do everything in his power to ensure that another terrorist attack would not occur on American soil. Guess what? Since 9/11, we haven't been attacked. So, kudos to the President.

i've got some news for you.
president clinton didn't invade iraq and create a whole new reasoning for going to war - pre-emptive strike.
the FACT that all of the stated reasons for bush's folly have either turned out to be grossly overstated or outright lies is also not clinton's fault.
also, bush has ramped up the lying campaign by trying to suggest anew that the war in iraq has everything to do with the 9/11 attacks - but most americans know better.
best you neocons focus on trying to make a correct decision or two in iraq rather than finding new quotes by clinton that are now nearly 10 years old.
blaming clinton is not a plan or a way to find a constructive outcome to a disastrous policy.
bush is a leader, only he's not leading - he's lying...

Very well said.
At the time people were calling for war becouse of 9/11.So the Dems did what made them popular.Now.Alot of people are against the war so again, the Dems are doing whatever is popular.
Here is what so many forget. The President is elected to do what is best for the country. Not the individual.I am against the Immigration reform Bush is pushing.
However I am not going to call for his impeachment and start fabricating ridiculous conspiracy theories.
Bush attacked Iraq, legally. He attacked becouse Sadaam was not complying with with restrictions mandated after the first gulf war.
Now these liberal little girls want was us to bow down and embolden further attacks on our soil.
Angel! Writing about how what your husband is doing is wrong and shamefull. How about supporting him? When he calls home do you think he wants to hear about how evil his job is.If he does then he needs to just say so,desert, and come home and be a coward. That is what you are saying he should do.
I am in Iraq so your argument is null and void.
