There is a difference between ignorance and stupidity. Ignorance is when you don't know anything. Stupidity is not doing something about it. Too many liberals fall into the later category.

Not to me. To me calling someone a liberal is more akin to calling them an EXTREMIST. They are the equivalent in politics as Radical Islam is to religion. Liberals are the terrorists of the American political scene.

In some quarters , apparently so . Depends on who's dictionary they're using , Webster's or Limbaugh's ;D

(My rant from another post . Sorry for just copying, but .....;D)

. ** IMO the whole conservative/liberal thing is bogus . A false dichotomy . They aren't opposites , and aren't mutually exclusive . Look up the definitions in the dictionary (Webster's , not Limbaugh's ;D )I think the real sliding scales are "conservative " vs "radical " and "libertarian" vs "authoritarian". I'd place the current administration, and many of today's self-proclaimed "conservatives" squarely in the "radical/authoritarian" quadrant. (Disclaimer: Put me slightly into " conservative/libertarian" quadrant . )
People ask me the liberal/conservative question,. My answer is "Yes". & btw, whatever happened to the people I grew up with ? I believe they were called ,....hmm............. ," Republicans" and "Democrats"? "Liberals" & "Conservatives" were the extremes . Why do I have to be one extreme or the other? *steps off soapbox*
