...Or do they keep marching on, feeling that tearing down American institutions is best for their/our children`s future here in the United States ? Do liberals ever get tired of having to be the enemy within all of the time ? What do you think ?

I believe they took a short break after the USA was hit by terrorism on our shores on 9/11/01..and even more briefly while the nation mourned our dead presidents ..but even during the funeral for Ronald Reagan ..Peter Jennings wasn't prepared for the outpouring of public sympathy..and when the whole affair didn't end soon..he said ( ON AIR ) .".the nation needs to get back to the business of abu grabbe ". Sometimes life's events "force" them to stifle America bashing a day or two..but they don't quit willingly..I know I'm tired of those dunderbludgeons & their miserable whining & bashing America ..and all we stand for . SOMEBODY TELL SANGRIA ABOUT SENATOR JOHN KERRY BASHING OUR TROOPS ON THE BATTLEFIELD , CALLING THEM NAMES ..AND THEN GOING TO FOREIGN COUNTRIES TO BASH THE COUNTRY & OUR SITTING PRESIDENT ..

CINDY LIBERAL

I have had relatives in every war since this land was a colony. We are liberals in that we believe that the constitution is the most AWESOME WORK OF LIBERALS!!!

We are proud to descend from liberals. Shame on you for being ashamed. This country was founded and made great by LIBERALS.

And if you don't think that's rational, you don't know the meaning of rational.

bashing bush is the equivalent to being a patriot!

I think having patriotism, flags and borders is getting very, very old. In a world where we are all connected, be it through media, travel or multiculturalism, being a fundamentalist, standing strong and proud under a nation's flag, is a form of inferiority. Thinking someone is "superior" based solely on where they were born, or the colour of their skin is just as bad as Hitler's vision. Furthermore, America itself is an "institution" and it's image needs much more modern reworking to become a "world leader" as it once was thought to be. If you could stand back from your pride and ego of the "American Way", you will find that there would be no "way" if it weren't for the aid of the rest of the world: coffee from South America, rice from Asia, curry from India, oil from "everyone knows where", wheat and sheep products from Australasia, history and "Western Philosophy/Politics" from Europe, primary resources from Africa, and each continent is a new world to explore- a holiday destination in every city of the world for every taste. And, finally, the only "enemy from within" are the ones supporting irrational, selfish, and egoistical endeavours that cause discrimination, hate and segregation from the rest of the world.
We must find a way to unite every country in the world to find an answer to the rapidly-growing problem of Global Warming before there is no "future generation" to think about!
Thank you for asking!

I'm not a liberal, I'm a socialist, but most liberals feel that the right-wing ideology is Unamerican.

It was the far left who started the American revolution of 1776.

It was the far left who started the abolitionist movement.

It was the far left who first fought for labor union rights.

It was the far left who first fought for women's suffrage.

It was the far left who first pushed for a national social security program.

It was the far left who first fought for racial equality.

It was the far left who first challenged environmental damage.

It was the far left who first demanded dignity for gays and lesbians.

It was the far left who first opposed the development of nuclear weapons.

I could go on forever with this list, but I hope you get the point. America is a better society today because leftists stood up to bigotry, inequality, war, corporate power, sexism, racism, and the whole lot.

I do get fatigued defending myself and other liberals. Tell me, what liberals do YOU know (or even see on television) who "bash" America? This is a totally fallacious argument meant to further divide us.

Dude, whoever is feeding you this line is the one bent on destroying America.

In order for a socialists movement to takeover a country they must first destroy its culture, thats all it is, cultural genocide.

it seems that they have a endless energy to bash America, it must be because they don't have to work hard, or they are doing more drugs to provide them with the rage they must feel
