but I'm new and didn't know SQUAT . So I hope this is the right section.......Does anyone think that we should provide our frontline soldiers with a means of taking their own life ( the method at ths moment is irrelevant, suffice to say it would have to be instant and painless ) in the event of capture by Al-Queda as upon capture they would be tortured and MURDERED in the vilest possible way and the video then posted on the net to further the ideals of this sick group.? I fully realise the implications of this as to morale but must say the decision would ultimately up to the individual person. I don't suggest this lightly but if given the choice which would you prefer.? The option of dying with at least some dignity ro to have your head hacked off for the benifit of those P~~~Ks. I mean no disrespect to our HEROIC soldiers, rather the opposite, after all of all the released hostages how many were soldiers.?

Why is it that there are petitions for people who don't respect the rules and laws of this country to sign in favor of Paris Hilton and there aren't any for people who think she should be punished like everyone else. And why do these petitions matter anyway. SHE VIOLATED HER PROBATION.

No matter how strongly you feel about something, I don't find it appropriate to scrutinize and become angry with other because they don't agree with you. Politcal discussion has a way of making people act like this.

Do they day dream wistfully about "what might be", if only America could be brought to heel under the Communist yoke of oppression?

Would they replace the 50 Stars on our flag with a Hammer & Sickle?

I know they are many republicans out there who are pro-choice, but the vast majority are "pro-lifers" but still support the death penalty and reckless pointless wars that kill thousands of U.S. troops and little brown children unnecessarily. If they love Jesus so much why don't they try to be like him more? Please don't think I hate Republicans. It's the religious right that gets on my nerves!

You have to remember what a decadent society Cuba was before, when it had a preponderance of Americans.....

Now it is one of the safest and friendliest places on earth.... just 93 miles from the Florida coast with it's 120 murders on average a month.

does it matter to you that anyone in this chat could be deemed an "enemy combatant" and rounded up legally? and held indefinitely with their basic constitutional right to a fair and speedy trial suspended, forever?
Are you aware that the federal reserve is a privately held "secret" institution, illegally operating since 1913?
that the Federal Income Tax is Illegal?
that in 2008 a mandatory ID OR "Real ID" card will be issued to all Americans with consequences for those caught not carrying it?
can you without the aide of a google search give the definition of "Police State" ?

I contacted a lawyer about a case involving liability. The attorney informed me that I needed to pay $250 just to hear his tell me "yes", or "no", if I had a case or not.

If I explain the facts to him before hand, why do I need to pay to hear his answer, when he will already have all the facts. (Its like going to a fortune teller).

Ward Churchill, former Professor of Ethnic Studies at University of Colorado, Boulder

-Regards the victims of 9/11 as "Little Eichmanns"
-Regards America as a genocidal nation
-Falsified his Indian background to qualify for an affirmative action position in Ethnic Studies
-Accused of plagiarism
-Lamented that the terrorism of 9/11 proved "insufficient to accomplish its purpose" of destroying the United States. Commented: "What the hell? It was worth a try."
-In Professor Churchill's view, revolutionary violence against oppressive America is not only justified, it is indispensable. "One of the things I've suggested is that it may be that more 9/11s are necessary."

Currently there have been 567 requests to Congress from 34 states to hold a Constitution Convention. As of this date, Congress has yet to respond to a single request.

Friends of the Article V Convention, http://www.foavc.org/
have filed suit with the Supreme Court. Due to technical issues the Court has refused at this point.

Regardless of what the states ask to propose, the Congress must by law respond, in not doing so they are in fact in violation of the law. Regardless of what the convention proposes as amendments, the states must ratify by 3/4 majority.

Congress has refused, illegally, because they know the prime purpose is to put term limits on them.

Are there any attorneys here that would be willing to help move this forward through the courts, demanding that congress listen to the voters?

and that is what we are of course. Always, always in the affairs of other nations. It's been that way since the beginning I imagine We come to the United States; we take over what are now the states which were occupied by the indians, We kill for this land of course. We instill our way of life, while destroying another way of life. Our business of course, is more important than that of the indians.

We stick our noses into the business of Korea and VietNam and now Iraq. We go to Afghanistan to "find Osama" and find NOTHING. But we kill nonetheless.

humm
I often wonder what it would have been like if after 911, the president of this country would have concentrated more on OUR borders, rather than entering and occupying inside the borders of those lands which are not our own; if he had concentrated more on illegals in OUR country, rather than being bogged down with "security" matters in a land, again, not our own.

Are there any state laws regarding unemployment that would help me with my case? I was let go from employer due to my husband stealing from the store(food store). I knew nothing about it and no police report was filed. My employer says he should not have to pay my unemployment due to my misconduct. I feel there was no misconduct on my part. I never gave employer any reason not to trust me.(I even handled over $90,000.00 every Friday cashing checks) Is there any case law that would help me. Thanks for your help.
