Why is it that there are petitions for people who don't respect the rules and laws of this country to sign in favor of Paris Hilton and there aren't any for people who think she should be punished like everyone else. And why do these petitions matter anyway. SHE VIOLATED HER PROBATION.

Monsieur, I do not envy her in the least. I am intersted in protecting the laws and judicial system that makes this country fair. This is just one instance of special treatment. It makes us no better than the worst of countries if we allow certain people to break the laws.

People want to get her out of jail because of popularity. Children and even adults are so sickly obsessed with people like this that they are willing to let the rules be bent to help her. This whole Paris situation should send a message to kids and parents: THESE PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE LOOKED UP TO. They are bad influences. I don't feel at all sorry for Paris.

Celebrities are as useful to me as a urinary tract infection. People that worship celebrities are idiots. You people should look up to police officers, soldiers, firefighters, EMT/paramedics, doctors, scientists, etc. These people put their necks on the line for YOU. They keep you safe, care for you when you're ill, look for cures for your diseases, etc.
