I think many of you are correct. W thinks in terms of domanence and submission and would only respond to a physical threat. This is very much unlike the diplomatic and cooperative nature of Ben Franklin. I am not trying to advocate violence or domination but that is really what we have on our hand here isn't it. A few Americans have decided not to compramise and work with their fellow country men, but insted band together to try to dominate all the people of the world who think differently than them. How can this be delt with.

Benjamin Franklin helped to create the Republic that we have today. And was not only and inventor, but was the ambassador to France. He helped get France to join us in the Revolution. He was at the Constitutional Convention, and helped form the Republic. Bush seems to be destroying everything that he helped to create with legislation like the Patriot Act. So, yes I think he would have very little, if any, respect for Bush.

I don't know anything about President Pierce or his administration. But I can hardly imagine and ancestor NOT being proud of George W. Bush. I can well believe 41 is extremely proud of his son. It really says something about the character of a man who continues to do a job, and do it well, in the face of such evil as the Democrat Party. A strong will, and a determination to see his term completed with the best results for the people of the United States of America, are very worthy attributes of a President. God Bless our President!

Ben Franklin was a Renaissance man. George Bush is an elected official. Ben was out flying his kite while the Revolutionary War was going on. There is no fundamental comparison

Absolutely. Franklin got no money from either the stove or the lightning rod. He would be giving Dubya a toungue lashing like no one has ever heard. Dr. Franklin believed in improving the quality of life (a liberal) and Dubya simply doesn't care.

My first thought was that Franklin would shake Bush's hand and congratulate him for hanging in there under so much liberal garbage dumping. After all Franklin was a good and decent man. He would understand how hard it is to govern this country with a bunch of sniveling whiners back biting and undercutting constantly.

I have a feeling Ben Franklin would have little respect for George W.

Aight dude, so heres the deal--You come out here on the big stage, and you sound and look like a little 8 yr old girl, standing in front of her mirror with her hairbrush trying to be Mariah Carey. Come back in a couple years when you get a bit older to discuss politics.

I dig the blonde hair thing you got going though!

I know that I would not only like to kick his a'ss but as well kick him one square in the nuts and when he bends over blacken his eyes and say to him "Are you going to start listening or do you need some more". That would be the only way that you can get through that thick skull of his.
