i always see people post that part of the reason to join the military is to defend your country. is it a bad thing that i am not at all grateful for anyone in the military?
iraq has nothing to do with me or the u.s. and dont try to pull the 9/11 thing since iraq has nothing to do with that either.
also, 9/11 was a tragedy, but our government did a good job of building up foreign aggression and hostility towards the u.s.
our government even funded and armed most of our current enemies. this doesnt sound like im being defended at all.

I remember reading that when this country was first founded, in Presidential Elections, whoever came in first was President and whoever came in second was VP. Does anybody else remember something like this? Would that work today?

I need someone to link me a URL to a website that shows the law that says you need to be 18 years of age to operate commercial machinery at a business. Such as operating a forklift/hi-low or like a bulldozer at a business like a plant nursery. If somebody could link me that URL that be awesome! Please and thank you.

re-elected? 06' told us America wants change, do they dare risk the anger of the voters and their own necks? How many will continue to have the integrity to stand firm and put their money and seat where their mouth is, or is only a matter of time before they start siding with the democrats to get us out?

If i were a cop, and another cop was doing something wrong, he could kiss his butt goodbye because I would tell on him. If he tried to kill me, i'd get the drop on him and he'd go first. I hate loser cops!!! I use to be a corrections officer and I did tell on one of my fellow officers once. He hated me, but too bad. What makes him think he can get away with things others cannot.

This is purely hypothetical, because I would never suggest that our president is incompetent. (Okay, I might suggest it, but that's not the purpose of my question.)

Yes, I'm showing my ignorance here, but I don't remember studying about whether incompetence was an impeachable offense. We can fire bad employees for poor performance; is it possible to "fire" a president, or must s/he actually break a law? (And yes, I know you can impeach a president without actually removing him/her from office.)

Hypothetically, (I say again), is it POSSIBLE, and if so, what authority would ultimately have the power to deam the respective performance "incompetent?"

Hope springs eternal.

If this were you or me we would have been thrown in jail a long long time ago. We would not have the luxury of a delayed sentence. What is this country coming to when being a mentally retarded rich girl gets you off of the hook. As an average citizen you should be outraged.

People generally think of it as "opposite ends of the scale" but what if it is more like "going full circle"?

For instance, both liberals and conservatives agree in buying products made in America... and food grown in their own farms.

Both liberals and conservatives feel like "big government" should stay out of our bedrooms...

Why do we let the pundits try to separate us on these issues?

The Democrats however are willing to have a ambulance at the bottom, waiting.
