I definitely don't want him to be our PM. He's a very intelligent man no doubt, but he complicates everything he touches.
Also he doesn't appear to have much time for opinions that differ from his own. Being a true Scot he definitely favours the Scots when it comes to money. I feel he is only using the united 'British agenda' because he wants to be PM and that's the only reason. Otherwise he's a Scot through and through and will always put them first before the rest of the country.

NO!
this buffoon has sold off the wealth and assets of our country to fool the electorate into thinking we are prosperous. We are bankrupt .our children will be paying off government debts to private investors for the next fifty years.
The blair govt has been handing out tax funded lollipops to anyone foolish enough to credit them with success.
Please dont be fooled by the ultimate spin, the spending spree is over and as usual the next tory government will pick up the pieces.

Gordon Brown has destroyed the private pension industry and those with private pension schemes know only to well his capabilities, he is a fool and will support the SNP and because he is Scottish unfortunately like the rest of the nation they never see the bigger picture especially as far as unity is concerned.

Brown is an old fashioned Labour Party man who believes in tax and spend (mainly waste). He had 'Old Labour' ideals pumped into him by his father who as well as being a clergyman was a well known Labour supporter. As anyone who has worked in the the Treasury will tell you his rudeness , arrogance and self belief in his own infallibility are legendary. Like Bliar he is basically a,"Stranger to the Truth".

Remonk is right, Brown has decimated the private pensions, and failed to protect the people who have made provisions for their later years, and now he has said that he wants to save the NHS, so god help them, or in reality you and me. Brown has his own agenda and i think we will find that Tony Blair was not as bad as we all painted him. Time will tell.

I think Gordon Brown is in for a rude awakening with a much stronger Tory party in Britain.

Bush and Blair would taint anyone.

Certainly. You also need to remind yourself that most people form theor opinions from a tainted source - newspapers. The majority of the press in UK is violently opposed to Labour and quite happy to distort the news, knowing that most readers do not know the difference between opinion and fact.
