I'm guessing that you think catch and release is torturing the fish? Probably because they get hooked, then have it torn out of them and thrown back.
So, if that's the case, how do you know that it harms the fish? Do you have some fish friends who tell you how much it hurts?
Just imagine...if we didn't eat fish. The seas would be so overpopulated they'd eventually come on land and kill us all. Now that would suck.

The main reason is because may people that hunt, use the meat from thier kill for food. Those who torture an animal aren't using the animal for food, but rather to show how sick they are.
Fishing isn't torture, many people throw the fish back after they catch it, and fish is a source of food. Just out of curiosity what is your defintion of torture?

God put animals on the Earth for us to eat in order to survive. You may be able to survive without it but that's what animals were put on Earth for, not to cuddle with and say how cute they are. Torture is completely different. Fishing is definately not torture though. Thats just the way we get our fish from the sea.The same way we have been for thousands of years.

with the exception of the obtrusive ethical barriers it relies upon on the animal's protection, the country, and the region - like a reserve or something. it quite is criminal until eventually in any different case reported. yet whilst it quite is endangered, it quite is reported. So in essence, unlawful. additionally, as quickly as the animal is lifeless it quite is close to impossible to bypass any of it with the aid of customs or borders in the two the country you're leaving and going to. by maximum international places realising they make greater from recognizing vacationers than looking vacationers.

People eat meat and have since the beginning of time. That's why it's legal. It isn't abuse when you're hunting it to provide nourishment to your family.

killin animal instantly wont hurt the animal in a long period of time. As a matter of fact, both killing and abusing r cruel. But more ppl think that abusing is cruel than ppl who think killing is cruel, that's y abusing is illegal, but not necessary killing.

There is no real good reason. Lots of people I know go and do it, but I guess if you just kill it without letting it suffer it seems more humane. Still, it can be grusome.
