Yes, Jingoism is extreme nationalism, itself an extreme form of patriotism. You don't see a lot of any of those in America today, but when you do, it's mostly still at the level of 'mere' patriotism.
Nope, but I looked it up, nothing too scary there. Though, it's not like it has the force of a Constitutional Amendment.
Yes. Profoundly unlikely though it may be. I do not think that sacrificing freedoms for safety via the Patriot Act was a good idea. I'd've prefered deterence via overwhelming retaliation. More effective, and no Americans' civil rights need be compromised.
I'm aware of what the Federal Reserve is, yes. Though, it's not 'illegal.'
Speaking of constitutional amendments, there /is/ one that makes the Income Tax quite legal.
Yes, now we can finally hear the jackbooted thugs demanding our 'papers.' Actually, I got quite a lot of that in my youth, since states already have ID cards, and police aren't shy about demanding them when you're walking around late at night.
Not a dictionary definition, but a Police State is typically concieved as a totalitarian regime where citizens have few if any rights, and are subject to constant surveilance and are routinely 'disapeared' if they voice the slightest disloyalty.
Just becaue a crazy person says "calling me crazy means you're a sheep!" doesn't mean you'll start growing wool when you observe how crazy she is.
It really doesn't feel that good to be me. In addition to my own personal tragedies, I live in a country that's sunk so deep in self-loathing that it would rather tear at it's own flesh than defend itself. Not conducive to ebullience at all, really.

You for sure have on no account study the Posse Comitatus Act is. This act prohibits the protection tension to function as a regulation enforcement entity in civil concerns. basic translation, protection tension won't be able for use as police to enforce civil rules. for this reason the border isn't militarized, and for this reason the protection tension isn't appearing by fact the police on your city. with the skill to activate the protection tension to help in emergencies like natual disaters makes it greater convenient for humanitarian help to take transport of to community municipalities. sure the protection tension did help in the process the disaster from the typhoon Katrina, yet that help grow to be very constrained in scope, and ought to no longer incorporate regulation enforcement powers. national shield could be observed as upon by a governor of a state for mess ups additionally. the assumption of desiring the protection tension to assist the community civilian inhabitants in situations of emergency isn't something new, yet this grants the president capability to apply the protection tension with much less beaurcratic pink tape to apply the protection tension for that purpose. In all your statements, you haven't any longer shown something that violates the Posse Comitatus Act.

There have already been consequences for not having id. They round people up regularly who don't have id and run their prints on any variety of stupid laws ment only to give pigs the excuse to do so. I was once picked up by some azz of a cop for jaywalking and when he questioned me about not having id I told him by law that I didn't have to carry id. He took me in and kneed me in the stomach in a hallway with no cameras. The constant fight to keep people from imposing on our rights can be consuming too. People will allow themselves to be walked on for a while and then they will snap. What do you think people should do to combat this. Should they be motivated by fear to educate themselves?
Or should we do more to make education enjoyable.

"If by 'jingoism' they mean a policy in pursuance of which Americans will with resolution and common sense insist upon our rights being respected by foreign powers, then we are 'jingoes'."
Give it up, old tired talking point.
