"Indeed, to the extent that last week's bloodshed clarified anything, it is that the battle of Baghdad is increasingly a battle against al-Qaeda. Whether we like it or not, al-Qaeda views the Iraqi capital as a central front of its war against us."

What happens when a level headed Democrat actually starts showing he cares about the Iraqi people?

I don't think Al Gore is the one to declare the debate is over considering he is making money off carbon offsets.

What is wrong with have a good debate instead of the shrill voices going back and forth?

Australia has stood with us steadfast and tall in the war on terror .
And now, I'd like to thank them for something else .
Australia has refused the visa of Snoop Dogg. .. . they refused him because of his long criminal record . Now he can't co-host the Video awards . Not that I watch , but anything to get him off the air and stop him from polluting the minds of our youth !!

Thank you, Australia !!

At my school we are preparing the biggest project of the year. We are doing a mock trial of the Nazi War criminals at Nuremberg. I am defending Julius Streicher. Does anyone know what way I could do this, or give me good links to show he wasn't guilty of committing a war crime? Thanks!

I currently receive child support in the state of Illinois. I previously received help with my daughter's child care payment through Action for Children. Now my income is "too high" to get subsidy. However, my child care payments are too high to pay by myself. How can I receive help from my ex? Does my current child support order have to be changed? Do I go through child support and the state or is this a separate legal issue?

Gen. David Petraeus, the top U.S. commander in Iraq, said Thursday that conditions in Iraq may get harder before they get easier and will require "an enormous commitment" over time by the United States.
hmmmm. Gw Cheney and gen Pete expect obama or Hilary when they become president to take on this long term commitment when they oppose the war.

Hes 7 years old. He had no clue i was coming home-i thought i would suprise him. Showed up at the school around 10am. Signed in at the office and explained what was up. They take me to the classroom, as soon as i stepped in the door all the kids - INCLUDING MY OWN SON ducked under their desk screaming bloody murder. Turns out their liberal teacher has filled them all with bull about how soldiers only go to places like Iraq to kill babies.
My question is this: Libs-why are you brainwashing our children?

The senate is willing to pass a bill to fund the war (it's their job to decide where the money gets spent) contingent on getting to tell the military how to do their job. What if the generals said "We'll fight the war, but only if you spend tax dollars the way we say."? Would that be OK?

When Bush came into office, and the internet bubble burst, many Democrats blamed Bush for the bad economy.

We,, the stock market just hit a record high, unemployment is down to Clinton-era levels:
http://data.bls.gov/PDQ/servlet/SurveyOutputServlet?request_action=wh&graph_name=LN_cpsbref3

The PPI, a measure of inflation, is pretty low:
http://data.bls.gov/PDQ/servlet/SurveyOutputServlet?request_action=wh&graph_name=WP_ppibrief

So the economy is doing pretty well. Now, most sensible people know this has nothing to do with Bush, but we are talking about Democrats here.

So, I am not available to accept your apology, and to hear you guys say that George Bush has turned the economy around, and it is completely his doing that is making the economy so great. After all, it was his fault when it was bad, right?

Or do you only blame Bush when he does something bad???
