Our government and media has the "divide and conquer" theory working overtime! Should this worry us? I think so.

It worries me all the time. I fully support differing opinions, but far-reaching generalizations on one side or another is not healthy for the collective America. Ultimately, anything anyone does is going to upset someone else.

Therefore, as I have said many times, acceptance over tolerance is key to stabilizing the polarized country we have become. Unfortunately, it is up to an individual to move past barely tolerating another view and accepting it without judgment.

I don't see a lot of hate. The wealth division is growing, but even then the American poor aren't at all as bad off as 3rd World poor, so I don't see a lot of hate from American poor either.
I live in a very diverse community, and don't see black kids and yellow kids and brown kids and white kids all hating on each other. I don't see games in the park divided by color.
Can you explain what hate you mean?

I'm not sure I'd classify it as hate. Anger for sure, but not necessarily hate.

Remember, conflict and strife sell newspapers.
But as far as your average American is concerned, if you overcome the rank apathy that exists among the masses, you will find that most of the rest are either uninformed or generate opinions based on feeling rather than fact.

That worries me for sure.

NO

It will just build to the point civil war is the only solution. Then the Hate Slinging RedsStaters will kill each other off.

The best thing about the next civil war in America is the ConJob party has a reputation for killing themselves with friendly fire.

Go Team Red Go

Yes, I certainly am concerned about it. I am also concerned about the seemingly lackadaisical attitude and lack of concern of this war on terror and the possibility that we COULD lose it and the consequences of losing. I guess it goes back to our low standards we use for educating our young people. I am also concerned about our lack of morals and the evil along with all the hatred oozing from our society.

It is written into the Constitution. Explicit action can be taken by the people to over throw the government. They should worry about us.

Absolutely the Divider Decider has literally pit brother against brother with his "Either your for us or against us." rhetoric, and his twisting of being for His war his way or against the Troops and Freedom. He runs this country with the same tenants of fascism, and poisons the minds of the simple people against the educated.
The fact that this administration is guilty of numerous crimes against this Country and her people has nothing to do with its political party or its conservatism. This administration is anything but conservative.

Who can help but hate people who support a war that they KNOW was predicated on REPUBLICAN LIES?

The facts are out.
The Republican Administration justified the invasion of Iraq based on LIES.

Who can help but hate people that praise the murders or innocent civilians and the death and maiming of American Service people?
For a LIE

All the Death in IRAQ.
Every child killed in bombing in Iraqi Marketplace.
Every distraught Iraqi looking for loved one in makeshift morgue........

It's on the REPUBLICANS.
They embrace any lie as long as it puts money in their pockets.

WHAT IS NOT TO HATE?

Difference of opinion is not hate. Group think that you think is needed for a civil society will cause stagnation and cultural death
