He has a PHD in International Relations and over 30 years of military experience, most of it in leadership positions, so I believe he knows what he is talking about.

It seems that was said several years ago. Not long after Pres. Bush declared "Mission Accomplished". Now we have at least $10 billion dollars missing, according to the GAO, and that is just what they know about. The rest of the world hates us, so let's just Truman them. Get out and drop the bomb.

The CPA got the situation so screwed up that Iraq is a hole in the ground. There is no easy foreseeable way to get out without letting Iraq to the dogs. Can you see what I mean?

then we had better repeal those tax cuts and in a hurry.
why in the world would bush want to be known as the only president to cut taxes during a war - makes you wonder.
we also had better get war funding right into the yearly budget to assure that the troops get what they need and stop this emergency funding measure act that the bush admin has been doing for the past four+ years...

My question is for what reason are we doing this. What is the purpose, to establish a democracy in a region where it has never worked and they don't want it? what is the purpose. If it is to just have a war with people that like to war because we haven't in so long, then lets keep going to win.. oh wait what do we win and how is it determined? I don't get the whole thing in general, but god bless me if one more person says to fight them there rather than here I am going to go to war myself with those morons that believe that garbage.
