I don't think Al Gore is the one to declare the debate is over considering he is making money off carbon offsets.

What is wrong with have a good debate instead of the shrill voices going back and forth?

I have read science and some agree it is man made and other don't.
This article I put forth was from someone of science.

For the people so quick to cut off debate or exchanging ideas tells me that you are not willing to listen anymore.

Guess science has been wrong before and they can be wrong here too.

Consider that.

I think we need an open and honest debate on global warming. You always have to question an issue when one side says the debate is over.

I remember Al Gore saying the debate is over I consider myself pretty well informed and I don't even remember seeing a debate. What I think is actually happening is intimidation by the left because if there was a true debate with both sides presenting their arguments the left would probably loose a lot of their supporters, because most of the headline readers tend to be liberals.

Global warming is real. THAT I believe. But Al 'Hypocrite' Gore makes the global warming issue lose credibility. If they took him out of the equation, people will take global warming more seriously.

Al Gore is taking advantage of the ignorant.

That never works because people get defensive and start shouting and pointing fingers. That is easier than having a good, rational debate.

Religious debates often do get pretty hot.

It might be helpful if you would read about global warming in a science publication.

I can't imagine what would motivate you to want to ignore the destruction of the human habitat. Self-loathing maybe. I don't know.
