We were ALL foreigners at once (unless you were Native American)!
I am not an illegal, and I would march to demand basic human rights for these people. Why do some feel that they have the right to shoot these people? We are all children of GOD! Geez people!
Honestly though, how likely is it that illegals that are scared to even go out to buy groceries, for fear of being deported, will go out and march? I think it is just LEGALS that will be out there! How can you tell if they are legal or illegal? Do they have an I or L stamped on their forehead?

It as much OK here as it would be OK in a foreign country if Americans were to march in their streets, waving the American flag, and demanding rights.
In other words, I don't think it would go over well and rightly so.

Well I remember not long ago when they had a march where I live, it was going on down the street from where I work and when I got off work I sure saw alot of Mexico's flag and a few of the USA flag upside down.
I also saw alot of signs claiming they were victims of racism and a a few signs about their land bein stolen from them.
Mexico doesnt allow foreigners to assemble.

Their countries wouldn't allow it of us. So, no. It's not okay at all.
I am NOT a foreigner to this system of government and the economy we built. I'm NOT foreign to the certainty that allegiance to law is the only REAL reason we have the riches we do. Anyone who immigrates legally is not a foreigner either.
Those who have no allegiance have always been identified as what they are - invaders.
The difference, today, is that these people are often poor and the very system that made them poor is filling their heads with a "poor little me" and "big bad America" mentality and, essentially, sending them to protest a sovereign nation - at the order of another govt.
Dead wrong and flat dumb for us to allow.

I feel it isn't right but I don't know if there is a law against it. They need to be waving flags, chanting and demanding rights in their own country though not here. That's my opinion for what it's worth.

It's perfectly OK if they're here legally. Would you deny, say, Iranian expatriates who fled the Islamic Revolution in 1979 the right to assemble and try to draw attention to thier plight? No, of course not.
OTOH, illegal aliens marching in the streets for whatever reason, should simply be deported - they are breaking the law, afterall.

Yes, it is perfectly okay, provided they do not break any laws. However, the INS department should also have the right to use such events as an opportunity to ensure participants are here legally and have not flouted the law to be there in the first place.

No, its not and in extreme cases can be taken as an act of war, at a minimum it can perceived as an act of treason by citizens joining them.
Psi, the "we were all foreigners at one time" is not only tired and played out, in many cases its untrue. In my case I can trace my family in this country back 150+ years.

Absolutely not, rights are for natives only. This is my land, not your land. Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness are for me, not you. People found using other languages should be captured and immediately enslaved. It's the only thing to do.

It is totally unacceptable. Those who march in favour of Islamic reasons should be transported back to their nations of origin, no questions, asap. Why are European nations so lame duck? Danes, English, Norwegians, Germans, French,....where is your pride?
