If amnesty is granted for the current 20 to 30 million, the invasion will get worse. More will come for the next round of amnesty. Plus all the families of the current "criminals" will be allowed to come. Amnesty will bankrupt the United States!

Yes & Yes. That's the plan, really, to backfill the lower classes and younger generations with immigrants. For the last 40 years Americans have been pulling themselves out of poverty and not having enough kids to keep the population stable, let alone growing. But, the American consumerist economic model needs ever-growing population to expand, and it needs cheap labor to remain competative internationally. Immigrants provide both.

When the American people proved reluctant to allow greatly increased legal immigration, the government simply stopped enforcing the existing, restrictive, immigration laws. Once presented with millions of illegals, and thier American-citizen children, the public accepted an 'amnesty' program that created 4 million new citizens. The availability of anmensty, of course, encouraged yet more illegal immigration. The next amnesty - and, regardless of whether Reps or Dems are in control, it will happen, because it must happen to keep the economy 'growing' and 'prosperous' (and corps profitable) - will create 12-20 million new citizens.

If what you say happens then within 10 years the majority of the population in the US (whites) will become a minority. The social security program will become insolvent, the medicare system will be overburdened and inefficient and in general life as we know it will change forever.

Keep in mind that both the Republicans and the Democrats are having a real tough time with the imigration problem. Neither party understands that if you are here illegially then you are an illegal alien.

Easily that many. Probably higher, because I've seen NOTHING in any of the bills that would effectively secure our borders or track our visas for proper exit compliance.

Our schools and health care are already failing and social security is due to go bankrupt. What resources do you think will be left?

Even fresh water would be an issue.

No we don't have the resources.. I guess all these people will have to go live with the wealthy of this country..the middle class can give no more.

So I propose that each wealthy person.,. and we have lots.. take in ten families.. make sure they are fed and clothed and educated.

Wonder how fast this immigration thing would stop if the rich had to give up a few things.. like tomorrow maybe?

Hell, we would have those rich guys down there building that wall themselves...

No, we wont be able to handle that many people. We are in a downward spiral and any of the people in the government who thinks that it is Ok to let that many people in are sorely mistaken and this will be the downfall of these United States.
