Can someone please identify three 'formal' support organizations that assist the US Congress in its legislative and oversight responsibilities? Thanks

What exactly is illegal downloading of music? If i download purely songs from sites such as multiply, isohunt.com, gendou.com , is it counted as illegal downloading?

I'm not paying to download but the site owner pays to host the web and the music files.

However, in sites such as isohunt.com, we're downloading the files we want in torrent files which often don't tell us where this source come from, is it illegal or not, we don't know.

And what will happen if we're caught downloading these illegal stuffs? Is there a difference in punishment if i'm only downloading songs while the other guy is downloading movies ?

Is there anyway to erase our track from downloading music/ movie/ stuffs like this ?

....that he was evil, beat me, ran around on me, etc. would it be wise to stay the course with him, try to change him? Would I look foolish or like a coward if I left him? Would I be admitting defeat if I just took a walk? Would I need to feel embarrassed in front of all those people I had told, "He's the best thing in the world"? Or, should I just get out and save my life, to heck what anyone else thinks?

I think, if a mistake was made, admit it, and get out alive!!

Does anyone see a similarity here? To an ill-conceived "war", maybe?

Why is it so hard to say, "I was wrong."?

My mum has been married to her husband for almost 2 years. Anyway, once married this man changed totally, became a different man altogther so they are now divorcing. All through the marriage he refused to give her any money, she only had child benefit to live off which brought her and her sons food each week and any clothes ect Today she has just come across a bank statement which shows he has been putting all the extra income, meant for the family, into an ISA. Does she have any rights to claim some of this as it was the families money in the first place? It is quite alot of money.

I can't understand what the big fuss is all about. If you are a Christian, the Bible says that God put the Earth and all of its life, in our hands, to be treated properly. And, even if you are not a Christian, scientifically you must realize the importance of maintaining a healthy environment on Earth. What political significance does the "global warming" debate have? Why do some people think it is okay to pollute the air, water, and soil?

Why is this such a highly charged topic? And why does it seem to split liberals and conservatives?

An attorney-in-fact (via power-of-attorney) is a fiduciary, and is required to keep detailed and accurate records of all relevant transactions entered into on behalf of the principal. Is there a requirement as to how long an AIF must keep these records? I'm guessing that there must be some rule or code that addresses this matter, but I've been unable to locate it. The latest development is that a court in Jaipur has issued an arrest warrant for Gere. I think this is ridiculous and Indian Judiciary is making a mockery of itself. Instead of bringing such trivial issues in limelight government should focus its resources on more serious matters.

The driver wants to sue me for negligence, as my dog broke through the fence and got out. She was looking at a possum on the electricity wires and hit my dog. I want to know how I get proof of the alleged damage to her vehicle? She says its $1071 worth. When I looked at the car the day after, there was no visible damage.

I went to apply at a local gas station here in Cali and was asked if i spoke spanish. I replied no and the manager told me they don't hire unless you spoke spanish.. he said he'd give me an application but i would not be hired....is this legal????
