I've usually see em in the movies and stuff like that. Little long tubes like hand held flares which upon breaking or twisting emits faint green light sort of like the radium stickers and stuff like that and are these available in military surplus stores?

I've read a lot of articles about child being taken from their parents because of weight problems. I'm at odds with this one. What do you think? For an example: http://www.size-acceptance.org/kayla/

Here's a quick History:

Japan helped greatly in WWI. The Japanese seized Germany's territories in the Pacific.

However once the Treaty of Versailles was made, at least two countries were dissatisfied: Italy and Japan.

Japan was bombed by the USA then Japan attacked Pearl Harbor.

Every Japanese American was put into Internment Camps in the middle of know where, b/c of the paronoia that the Japanese might commit treason.

A couple of years later Hiroshima and Nagaski were a-bombed.

It sounds to me like the US governmeant was eager to try out a new toy.

Peace Treaties, Talks.......The USA just had to show Stalin that they were powerful as well and they were a force not to be reckoned with.

********PLEASE DO NOT REFER TO THE JAPANESE PEOPLE AS "JAPS". THANK YOU!

They whine and complain about the Iraq War all the time. Their own Senate leader is saying the war is lost and Queen Pelosi is kissing the feet of Syria's leader. With all this hate and complaing about the war, why don't they defund the war? Their is enough money in the pipeline now to bring the troops home. The liberals simply have to defund it but they don't. Would anyone like to give me an answer that doesn't blame Bush or the Republicans? It WAS Bush's War, but now it is in the hands of Congress. If they hate they war, bring the troops home. Don't give many any crap about how it is not that easy either. We didn't have a problem passing a resolution going to war. Spin away libs.

My state, NH, voted today to raise the minimum wage to $6.50 on Sept. 1 and to $7.25 the following Sept. 1. The US has not raised the minimum wage since 1997 and the "real value" of minimum wage is now at it's lowest point since 1957. Since the last minimum wage hike, if the minimum wage had been indexed to the rate of inflation, an estimated 7 million workers now earning the minimum wage would be receiving $9.05 an hour. Thoughts?

Victory in Iraq means the Iraqi must unite under this new Iraq government formed under George Bush's plan. Is this possible or was this really a mistake. You guys never answer this. Will the Iraqi really unite as a people and we can declare victory.
