there is no case. abortion is murder. i dont get into the battles about rape or incest. but in the cases of irresponsible women it should be illegal. it is a child, they fight as they are being killed by the doctor. in a world in which many people are not even supportive of capital punishment, they still think its OK to kill a child. there have been cases of the baby living and they are growing up now. its just sick to think of all the important, smart people who could have helped the world, that have been aborted. and yeah you say, they may not grow up in the best, richest family, but you know what neither are many of us, but if you gave any person the choice they would say, I'm glad I'm alive. you cant make that choice for a baby. you cant assume that they are better off dead. all that is doing is showing how little we care about human life. how can one say that a rapist or murderer should not be executed but a baby should..

It's actually pretty simple. You have the right to believe as you wish but do not have the right to dictate what someone else has to believe. Also before you condemn anyone who has an abortion, you have to be willing to adopt that child and raise it and accept all responsibility. I am NOT for abortion because I believe it is murder. However, I do not think I have the right to tell someone else what they must believe or do and I don't want you telling them either.
And, by the way, take a realistic look at the system that these children are expected to go into. Many of the children are abused-sexually and otherwise. Changes really need to be made.
None of the choices these days are good for an unwanted child. It is not just mothers that are not responsible having abortions. Grow up and take a good look around you. It is not a black and white situation and you obviously do not have the life experience to understand the what is going on around you.

The case, literally, is Roe v. Wade. But to the moral point, you are 100% right. Here's another question. A woman is on the way to the doctor for an abortion, is mugged and has a miscarriage. Can the prosecutor charge the mugger under Laci's law? Yes, he can. Conclusion: the mother, and only the mother, has a legally protected right to kill a fetus. Prior to Roe v. Wade, the only human with a legally protected right to kill was a cop, a soldier, or a civilian exercising deadly force in self-defense. Now we have the 4th category, mother. Which one doesn't belong with the others?
You can't even kill a dog w/o threat of criminal prosecution. A fetus is, legally speaking, less than a dog. Nice country. Can't imagine why Iran and N. Korea would want to nuke us.

Anyone that thinks abortions don't kill a child, and that's it's just a bunch of cells, needs to visit the CBR webiste I linked below, I'll warn you that the pictures are graphic, but this constant disinformation we get from the "pro-choice" lobbyists are just flat-out lies. It's all fine and dandy to them thinking in relative terms about ideals and choices, but it's amazing how many change their tune when presented with the gruesome facts that their flippant remarks belie. I challenge anyone to look at these pictures and not be moved. You just might change your mind. The back alley abortion argument is B.S. even in the "worst" year the recorded cases were less than 10,000, and as for it being legal, the killing of Jews was legal in Nazi Germany, did that make it right? I hate sounding like a right wing kook, because I'm not. The right has more problems than we can go into here, but facts are facts. Know the truth. If you can look at the little hands and severed heads and not feel that this was a human life, I'll apologize and stand corrected. LOOK AT THE FREAKING PICTURES PEOPLE! MAKE YOUR OWN INFORMED DECISION!

People are gonna do what they're gonna do. In 1969, a good friend of my Sister's had an abortion in a back alley room, by an UN-licensed person (Not even a md), with a UN-sterilized knife at sixteen years of age. This industry was pretty profitable back then and it would be again. I'd much rather see it done as it is today. I also believe a fetus is nothing more than A PART of a woman's body until such time as it is no longer dependant upon her for survival. As such, the mother has every right to abort it if she wishes. I do not support partial birth abortion except in an extreme emergency to save the life of the mother.

to answer you question how can it be legal, because the people on capital hill said that in order to be a citizen you have to be out of the womb. If a mother has a miscarriage is it murder? same with an abortion, yeah its a cruel act but in a legal since its not. a baby may be fully developed in the 3rd or 4th month and that's where the law stands in play, after the 3rd or 4th month the mother has no right to kill her baby, but the question is who give the government the right to say if a woman has to carry a unwanted baby, in my opinion only her faith in whatever can judge her for her mistakes.

I am a responsible person. I was told I couldn't have children. And I got pregnant. And while that might mean I should take advantage and have the child, the father and I are not ready to commit to each other for the rest of our lives, like we would have done (as a married couple) had we continued the baby. I was incredibly sick all the time, and I'm still waiting to get a period.
As for people such as Marilyn Monroe, who used abortions as birth control, I think it's wrong. And I would never get another one again if someone paid me...
We are also not financially ready. I spent 2 months agonizing over what I needed to do. I knew either way I went, I was going to regret my decision, but I'd rather regret not having a child than having a child and regretting it. That thought made me sad.
And like someone above said, would you rather have an aborted baby, or a baby grow up as a "I wish you were never born" child. I didn't want the father to look at my kid and think that. One of my best friends was that child, and she is all sorts of messed up because both parents (who are no longer together) tell her they wish she was never born everytime she's home from school.
And the law's not going to change because you and everyone else like you wants it to. It's the mother's body and life, it's the mother's choice.

Because the government makes so much money off it. Its the said truth that people would rather make a dollar then save a life. The women that use abortion for birth control should be locked up. There are sooooo many people that would give anything to become pregnant.. It just doesn't seem fair. I had a miscarriage 2 years ago and I have no sympathy for those murders.

its a very touchy subject. it is wrong, i totally agree- it is unethical to kill a potentially healthy life. but how would you feel if you were an irresponsible 13 year old and you get pregnant? being 13 is hard enough, so now picture it as a pregnant 13 year old, and then a mother at 13. you cant always get what you want, sometimes STUFF happens, and you cant control it. i think that the abortion issue is the last thing people need to be worrying about. worry about the recorces on earth instead of people having unprotected sex. there will ALWAYS be something someone doesnt agree with.

Pro-Choice means that it is that specific woman's choice..I would never wish for someone to abort..But in some cases with the rape, Inest rape, or danger to the mother I'd find it to be the only choice...Plus if a young young young girl got pregnant, Say age..10, 11, 12..Even a little older...There body not be able to take having a child..So this could be the only way ya know?
