Why even continue this quest of who controls the oil and just take the necessary steps to eradicate the need for oil?

It's time to step into the future!

We don't need fossil fuel. We have the technology to move beyond it.

I just read where there was a vote to give back voting rights to ex-felons. This just seems right to me...once they have served their time(and especially if it was a stupid choice made at a very young age)shouldn't these folks be given back their rights?

few weeks ago our son was looking through bedroom window seconds after the window was broken with a catapult, my son had seen 4 youths over the road told us who they were so my partner ran out to find them. He came back 20 minutes later told me he saw 4 youths hiding in trees when he was in car so when he did find them dragged one of them to the car to take to police station to explain at this the chap aged 15 sat on the ground so that my partner could not lift him so he hit him on the head with a metal tube knowing it was wrong but was very angry and upset thinking what could have happened if our son had not have moved. as he got into the car he saw this lad get up holding his head and walk off.That evening my partner was arrested for assaulting the youth was taken for 6 hours the police said that because he had told the truth would have him for common assault now his friends have changed stories lots of times and now are saying he was knocked out will the court see our side or liars

There is an old adage, "It isn't important how you make you money. It's what you do with it that counts."
An ambitious person with common sense, a high school diploma, and basic skills in money management will be much more prosperous in his lifetime than a medical school grad with a drug addiction and an appetite for loose women and fast cars.
Education in the USA is lacking in respect to providing basic skills to our children in how to succeed without becoming a member of the rat race of corporate America. Children who do not have college as a goal in their life, or even those who do, should be taught basic money management, credit management, and long term financial planning.
Imagine if you were going to play a game of Monopoly for the first time. You open the rule book and it says: The rules have been around a long time. Everybody knows the rules already so there's no point in printing them. So, just play the game.

The USA has never had either a black or female president (or a black AND female president). Would it be a bigger step for them to appoint a black male or a white female. It would seem to me that the US people would be more accepting of a balck male than a white female. There are many a black male actor who has portrayed the president but I can't think of any female fictional presidents on screen. You know what they say about life imitating art....

Many of us were unfairly discriminated against and deneid compensation for being given a killer disease that has already killed over 1,000 people.
Why? because we are natural clearers!
We were all NHS patients and given contaminted blood in NHS trransfusions,some like me beat it and we are now not allowed any redress for being given a killer disease by the NHS.
The Govt has a moral and financial obligation to us us all as WE ALL HAVE THE RIGHT TO CLEAN BLOOD.

I live in Ontario Canada. I have a laptop that I have been making payments on for 9 months. I need to sell it to make money to fix my car. However, I am supposed to be making payments for the next 3 years. I am planning on declaring bankruptcy in a month or so because of recent illness.
