He didn't. And it is completely absurd that people actually believe that Global Warming is made-up. It's pretty simple, we are creating more C02 which increases global warming (when in this planets history have there been machines like cars that produce those types of emissions?) and we are clearing trees that absorb C02 and create 02, its pretty easy to figure out. Granted it is a phenomenon that can occur normally but we have greatly sped up the process and pushed it beyond normal limits. Also, for those of you with the comments about Al Gore Inventing the Internet, get your story straight. I saw the interview, he never said he invented the Internet, he said he "helped create" the Internet. The Internet was originally a military entity called Arpanet, Al Gore was the first politician to petition for congressional funding to support and grow the Internet because of the great potential that he saw in its uses, and here we are today on the Internet.

p.s.l The thing about Nancy Pelosi was pretty funny though

Al Gore is leading a misinformation campaign by touting that mostly CO2 emissions are the result of human activity concerning Global Warming. If this is so, then why is Mars, Uranus, Neptune and Saturn's moon Titan, to name a few ,are experiencing the same warming processes that we are undergoing? Are there SUV's on these celestial bodies? In reality, what Gore and NASA would like to keep from the public view is that the Earth is experiencing a natural warming trend as it revolves around the galactic core. However, this may not be all peaches & Cream for us, considering in the past there have been violent Earth changes that have accompanied such phenomona. Gore's thesis is a pure distraction from the MACRO---WARMING trend taking place!

And, Al Gore never ever said that he invented the internet. The actual creators of the internet said that Gore passed essential legislation that fostered the environment for creation of the internet.

If you bothered to do a simple websearch, you would also find plenty of pictures of Laura Bush and Condi Rice dressed the same way.

You are being used. Question what sources of information you have and try to hear the other side. Question why you would repeat such bald faced lies, and what you are really getting out of doing so. Ignorance is not a very good life choice.

I wish I knew! He's such a blow-hard hypocrite. He's thinks he's helping but all he's doing is causing panic and a waste to lots of money. People are panicked to do something when Global Warming is not a fact.

Back in 1974 the scientists were panicked about Global Cooling and how we were about to have another ice age. Gore seems to discount the fact that these things are cyclical.

i think he was just finishing up inventing the Internet,then he rode that all the way to the vice presidency. he said lock box be damned I'll just run for president. well the box did have a lock on it and that failed miserably. not being accustomed to failure he thought i know I'll just invent something bigger than the Internet because i am the great inventor, and walla global warming was born.
with such a resounding successfull invention he now aspires to become supreme ruler of the planet. he plans to set up his throne in Antarctica as soon as all the snow melts and the temperature reaches a nice balmy 110 degrees. after that mars and on to conquering the entire universe.
