The United State and Israel have shown great restraint in dealing with terrorists and those who support them. The Unitied States has the power to literally sterilize the entire Middle East without us having to expend any effort. Yet, she hasn't done that. If this animal in Iraq had even a single such weapon Israel would no longer exist.
Yet, you continue to insult your president and claim he wants war. No one wants peace more than the red staters. The difference is we know what peace really is. You liberal types think peace is the absence of conflict. That is a fools peace. Real peace is the lack of any real threat.
Liberals think that just because no one is attacking you right now that everything is just great. Conservatives know that while you are dancing drunk and toppless in Daytona Beach, there are evil forces trying to amass and attack us again.
We will either deal with these people now on our terms in the place we select or we will deal with them on their terms in the place they select. Remember 9/11 was an example of the latter.

While I don't think you question has to posed as an attack, I do think Cheney's comments this morning that 'it was regrettable they were ever taken in the first place' could have been framed more positively like we are happy the sailors have been reunited with their families and that this event was resolved with no violence.
But that is coming from a diplomatically inclined liberal.
